New Gamma Competition - Fly with 'Mates

Description:

Let's build comradery and get to know your Gamma squadron mates by fighting side-by-side with them. The primary objective is to get your game on with another member of Gamma Squadron. Winners will be determined by who can complete the most matches (win or lose) with a teammate.

Rules:

Missions must be flown WITH another Gamma Squadron member (teammate)
Missions may be PvP or PvE (any TIE Corp approved game)
1 point is awarded for each match completed with a Gamma teammate
3 points are awarded for each match win with a Gamma teammate
Pilots are to submit a screenshot of the completed match showing you fought with a teammate

Competition Awards:

Weekly: Operational Readiness Award (ORA) for any pilot who exceeds 20 points. Pilots who exceed 50 points will get an additional ORA.

Monthly: Scores will be totaled and the top pilot wins an Iron Star-Silver Wing; runner up wins an Iron Star-Bronze Wing; third place wins an Iron Star-Copper Wing.

At end of the year: Scores will be totaled for all of 2024 and an Iron Star-Gold Wings will be awarded to 1st Place, 2nd place will be awarded an Iron Star-Silver Wings, and 3rd place will be awarded an Iron Star-Copper Wings.

Squadron Update

Greetings Pilots!

I've decided to merge the December and January reports since not much happened in December. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.

The results are in. We held 4 of the top 10 spots on the PvP killboards for 2023! Great job guys! Not an easy task to do in Starwars Squadrons.

With January came the release of Lieutenant Commander Habu's new Gamma competition Fly with 'Mates. Free medals for flying PvP or PvE with a Gamma Squadmate in any EH approved game, win or lose. Good times.

I think I run a pretty loose ship here in Gamma. There remains, according to the Pilot Manual an expectation of participation with Gamma. Participation can come in many forms including: creating fiction or art, flying and submitting Legions, participating in non-flying compeitions, creating your own competitions, or simply hanging out in the Discord channel. The reserves are not a bad option if you feel that you will be inactive for a long period of time and you can always join back. There are many different avenues to participate in. If you are having trouble finding something to do, please reach out to me directly and we'll figure something out. If you need some personal time, just let me know.

A reminder to all, be good to your fellow pilots. You never know what people are going through.
