Salute!

War Alerts!
Two BSC comps in the next two weeks, plenty of opportunities to fly!

The biggest news is that we have a competition coming up against the UPA. Some of you may remember the first one we had, early last summer... well, we're at it again, with "Battle of the Titans II"!

The competition will be an open Battlestats-hosted competition, just like the comp we had against the NRN in September. Platforms are both XvT and XWA, as usual, so no excuses! If you've participated in any Battlestats competitions, you'll be signed up and automatically eligible to fly. If you haven't, you'll need to sign up at Battlestats in the same way as is done for Week of War competitions. See my first COO report for info on that :)

Here are the URLs for the two war pages:

With the conclusion of the XvT Week of War, the XWA Week of War has started up.  Everything is the same as XvT as far as how things work, but here is the URL for the war: http://www.battlestats.com/games/xwa/war/info/index.php4?wow232.  I hope to see plenty of participation, I'm happy with the distribution of pilots for last week's XvT war!

Archived War Results
Last month's XvT WoW archived this week too, so I awarded medals at last.  Here is a breakdown of the participation and results:

Wing I: 1 game played (0-1-0), 1 player participating
Wing IV: 2 games played (1-1-0), 1 player participating
Wing XIII: 73 games played (63-9-1), 7 players participating
Wing XV: 2 games played (1-1-0), 1 player participating
Avenger Squadron: 14 games played (4-10-0), 3 players participating
Tau Squadron: 2 games played (2-0-0), 2 players participating
Total: 94 games played (71-22-1), 15 players participating
Overall EH Standing: 10th place of 24 ranked clubs

Overall, a good effort! Well done to all who participated!

New Weekly Competition
As announced earlier this week, a new COO weekly competition has started.  "The Night of the Lost Souls" is hosted every thursday from 3:00 PM EST - 5:00 PM EST (that's 20:00-22:00 GMT, to explain the 'night' part :P).  The first run had incredible participation for a two hour comp, I'm quite impressed :)  Thanks to all on the Immortal who have done good work setting this up, I hope it continues to be popular.

Clarification Re: EH Ladder
This is a clarification about the EH ladder in regards to regular combat events.  Yes, you may count matches in combat events towards the ladder, as long as both participants agree to it before the match begins.

What's in Store?
Expect to see results in the areas of manuals sometime in the next few weeks.  I'm almost done this round of hectic schoolwork, so I'll have time to focus on writing for EH purposes :)

I'm looking at starting a 2v2 competition.  Tentative timing would be Saturdays from 12:00-3:00 PM EST.  If anyone is interested in hosting such a competition, please contact me about it.

Pilot of the Week: LCM Caltin Doros
This week, Doros pulled in an LoC at two seperate weekly events, but what influenced me was his war activity.  He participated in 10 matches, winning half of them, and I'm sure learning a lot along the way.  Good work!

Happy Hunting!
