Salute!

This is a bit late, but I've had a busy weekend.  However, I did manage to get all the comp results cleared up from last week and hopefully have solved the WillyB0T problems to prevent them from happening in the future.  Cross your fingers :)

UPA vs EH War

As you all know, the UPA vs EH war is in full swing.  I say you all know because I've seen very good activity so far!  17 pilots and 50 games are more than we get most Weeks of War, so I hope this is the beginning of a new trend!  Perhaps what I am enjoying the most is the fact that I can see some of the pilots getting comfortable with flying in zone comps... this is very good experience, it certainly helps when you want to go and fly week of war.  It's good to see EHers holding up in 2v2 flight as well, I hope that this will continue as well.  Keep up the good work, and it isn't too late to start if you haven't yet!  Here are the war pages again:

New Weekly Competition

Wow, it seems like every week a new competition starts up :)  Actually this one will be starting next Tuesday, not tomorrow.  Here's all the relevant data:
Name: Frozen Doom
Date/Time: Tuesdays, 10:00 PM EST - 12:30 AM EST

It will be held in #ehcoc as always.  The time is designed to cater to pilots in Pacific regions specifically.  This means that there will now be a COO-run competition every day of the week!  Competitions run at all sorts of different times too, so it should be able to fit pretty much everybody's schedules at some point.

Still looking for hosts

I'm still looking for hosts for a 2v2 competition to run Saturdays from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST.  If you're interested, mail me at brucmack@yahoo.com :)  I may have a primary host, but we'll need an alternate.

Dark Brotherhood Medals

Members of the Dark Brotherhood can now earn DB medals for multiplayer combat at all COO comps.  Of course, this especially relates to Jedi Knight.  JK is available to be played at every COO comp.  To sign up for JK, use the command !jkadd <DB pin>, using 0 as your pin if you are not in the DB.  Winners will receive DB medals!  For XvT and XWA, pilots can play for DB medals so long as both pilots are in the DB.  To do this, use the commands !dbxvtadd <DB pin> and !dbxwaadd <DB pin>.  Again DB medals will go to the winners.  I have briefed the competition hosts on this so they should be able to help you too :)

What's in Store?

Some conversation on a flight school has started up, so hopefully there will be results in the not-too-distant future :)

Work on manuals has been put in the background with the recent flood of new comps and troubles with the bot, but will hopefully get going soon.

Pilot of the Week: LT Kenath Zoron
Last week Zoron was the EH in the XWA Week of War, playing 20 games and winning 8 of them.  Great work for a first war!  I want everybody to look up to this kind of activity... it shows definite desire to improve, playing not just for wins but for the great experience.  Zoron, keep up the good work, you've got a bright future!

Happy hunting!
