Salute!

You're probably wondering why I have barely been around at all lately, and that is because I've been having to do some major overhauling of my computer... sound card died last weekend, but I didn't figure that out until troubleshooting for a couple of days, and in the process of that I managed to get my computer overheating all the time. Anyway, I seem to have gotten it more stable now, though I need a new sound card :)

1. Week of War!

Yes, Week of War is currently on! This week is X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter. The URL for the war page is:

Also remember that the XWA Week of War begins when the XvT one ends, so XWA players, prepare!

2. Competition Hosts

There have been some shifts in the competition hosts, and these have been reflected on the combat calendar's listings. I'm not entirely sure if some of the alt hosts will be stepping up to permanent hosts, but in any case I need people for the following:

Greenwich Wolf Comp: Primary Host and Alternate Host
Eurocomp: Alternate Host
2v2 Comp (Saturdays, 12:00-3:00 PM EST): Primary Host

If you think you can do these, email me and we can set something up! Note that the Greenwich Wolf Comp will likely be cancelled this week unless a host is selected tomorrow.

Pilot of the Week: CM Sharp (a.k.a. Darkmage)
This is based on Darkmage's great performance in the EH vs. UPA war! Next week's Pilot of the Week will be based on this week's XvT Week of War, so get flying!
