Combat Operations Office Report #16 - 06.28.02

From the desk of Vice Admiral Khadgar...

Another busy week at the Combat Operations Office, with a lot of proposals and E-Mails in my Inbox. I've also been in discussion with the Chancellor of the DB this week regarding efficiency in relation to Cluster of Fire awarding.

On that note, let's get on with this week's news...

WoW LoCs

Typically COL Brucmack processes the EH's WoW medals. However, in light of his retirement, I will be awarding WoW medals this month. I will start working on this over the weekend.

New Page

The new Combat Operations Office page recieved some recognition prior to its release in the recent EH Holonet Awards. CM Alex Foley, the site's designer, has been presented with a respectable Bronze Star of the Empire for his excellent work. The site will be transferred away from the IO account shortly so that the Combat Operations Office can have direct access.

Hosting Medals

A few hosting medals have been submitted with the start of the hosting rewards program. I will now be looking into awards for hosts that did not explicitly state which awards they were interested in.

New Competitions?

Several new competition ideas have popped up, including various competitions inside and outside the EH. I won't go into details now, but expect to hear of new weekly competitions, ladders or wars shortly!
