The new Training Office site is now online at http://www.imperialacademy.org/. My thanks to SA Astatine for permitting me to use the traditional Office domain, and for providing me with timely FTP access. I have uploaded the new design in its current form, and have uploaded one of the missing Courses (the Graphics Course) so that it is now available. The website is obviously not yet complete, and I will strive to complete the various sections by the end of this next approaching weekend.

All IWATS Courses (linked at http://www.imperialacademy.org/to/courses.html) should now be available. Some Courses require minor updates due to a change of Professor, or of the Professor’s status; but all should be at a point where they provide the required notes in order for members to complete the various tests.

Thanks to Admiral Leeson, the Training Office now has an automated Graduate Database. This database (once some minor technical problems are remedied) will permit current Professors to update the Graduate Count and the individual Graduate ID-Lines of their Courses; hopefully remedying the previous problems of keeping an up-to-date record of the Graduate numbers.

Graphics (GFX) Professor Open for Applications

Following the resignation of Dark Adept Mejas Doto from the position of Graphics Professor, the position is now open for applications. The requirements are:

• An active member of the Emperor’s Hammer.
• Holding at least the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent).
• Above average talent & experience in creating digital graphics/images.
• Have a working knowledge of Jasc’s Paint Shop Pro and/or Adobe’s PhotoShop.

Applications should be sent to me (to@emperorshammer.org) with the subject “GFX Prof Application”. Due to the nature of the position, there is no closing date for applications; they will remain open until such time as a relevantly competent individual is found.
