Dangly bits!

Sorry for the lateness of this report, I wanted to get some things finalised so that they could be announced here.

News -


- Several congratulations are in order:

First off, Major Lusankya resigned last week as the Wing Commander of Wing XX due to RL constraints. His replacement was quickly appointed - congratulations to General Smitrock. Smitrock was previously Wing Commander of the same Wing, and had a successful run, so he makes a very welcome return.

Rear Admiral Darklord also resigned last week, as Commodore of the ISD Challenge. Long-time Chal pilot, Colonel Locke has been appointed as COM, so congratulations to the new Rear Admiral.

Lastly, congratulations to Colonel Reaper and his pilots in Wing IV on the SSSD Sovereign who have earnt themselves the TIE Corps Commander's Award for the month of January.

- There's been a lot of speculation and questions over the ATF & DB rule recently, and after discussing it with several people, I've decided to modify and clarify it for everyone's benefit:

- Flight Members and Flight Leaders in the ATF are NOT required to join the Dark Brotherhood, but are highly encouraged to do so. Of course, it will ultimately be the choice of the individual pilot if he or she wishes to join.

- Squadron Commanders and above in the ATF MUST be members of the DB and hold the rank of Acolyte or higher.

Hope this settles things.

- The War Officer, VA Pel, has covered a lot of ground with Imperial Storm III work. Following some extensive playtesting with volunteers he's devised a way of including both XWA and TIE. This is great news as it should make the wargame of interest to more people. The rules for this are being finalised and there should be more to annouce very soon.

- Incidentally, the start of this week marked my one year as EH Flight Officer. w00t.
