News ---
- Imperial Storm continues, this is the latest from the War Officer, Vice Admiral Pel:

- There have been some Flag Officer resignations, appointments and promotions recently:
- Congrats to the Subjugator Commodore, Grail, who was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral on behalf of a request from his BGCOM, Admiral Tiger. Grail has shown tremendous support and dedication in his position as COM of the Subjugator since it's opening, and this promotion is very well deserved.
- Rear Admiral Locke resigned as COM of the ISD Challenge (and from the EH). He replacement is already in place. Congratulations to a former BGCOM, Rear Admiral Mell! (Yes, Rear Admiral, Mark :P).
- MAJ Mosh has decided to resign as Wing Commander of Wing IX due to real life obligations. Applications are now being accepted for a replacement with the following requirements:
- At least one year of TC membership, and with FOUR consecutive months experience at a Squadron Commander level (or above).
- A demonstrated ability
to motivate and inspire pilots, from veterans to those just off the Daedalus.
- Proven ability as a pilot (at least Dragoon in the FCHG).
- Absolute reliability in
all regular Wing Commander duties such as turning in weekly reports, BSFing
etc.
- NO HCI convictions
It should be noted for those interested in applying, that this is not a position to be taken lightly. It requires your attention on a daily basis and you must be prepared to handle a large amount of email, most of which will need replying. Commitment is key here. If you're not 100% sure you can do the job, don't bother applying.
Applications should be sent to Vice Admiral Drake and Rear Admiral Krax Tarnisar, with "Wannabe WC!" in the subject of the email. Good luck if you decide to apply.
- A rule that is being implemented for the TIE Corps Message boards: You are NOT allowed to have signatures longer than 5 lines in length. Also, NO images, animations, dancing munkys or other such nonsense. Any links such be kept to those of your Squadron, Flight or homepage. Those that fail to follow this simple rule will be banned from the boards until their signatures are corrected.
On a related matter, some of you may have noticed the recent post from the Fleet's Executive Officer on the main EH board in regards to pointless messages.
No-one wants to wade through scores of crap in the slight chance that there's something useful somewhere. Keep *conversations* to OT forums, or anywhere that isn't a main message board. Having an average of 60+ posts PER DAY (!!sna|!zzle1!!) is bad, even for a Star Wars fan.
- That's right. It's finals season. In my final year. So, if over the next fortnight, requests and updates take a little longer than usual, try to remain calm. Yelling incoherantly at me on IRC isn't going to have me rushing to the database...despite what General Ford might say.
- The ranks of the HCI swell. Congrats to the latest offering, AD Maverick, of CA:RO fame.
