Greetings, and welcome to another Funky Flight Office Report...

- Some of you may have noticed that there are currently 4 Wing Commander positions open in the TIE Corps - Wings IV, VI, XIX and XX.
Earlier this week, General Ricardo and Lieutenant Colonel Joe both resigned from their positions. As far as I know, COM/FA Kramer is NOT taking applications for either of these positions, so please don't bug him about it. The WCs for XIX & XX are still being selected, and should be in place within the next few days.

- I finally have all the Fleet lists!! Yes, after a month of shouting, crying and begging, all the Fleets have been selected and approved.This means that we can now announce a start date for Imperial Storm II: MONDAY 25TH JUNE (~2 weeks away).
The Imperial Storm II site is located at http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/impstorm.html - It contains all the rules which have been finalised, as well as the Battle Map (click on the lil planets for more info). There's still some sections to be added, which'll happen during the week. In addition, more information will shortly be released that's more relevant to general Pilots.

- With the closing of emperorshammer.ca by the IO due to financial limitations, the Fleet Standing Orders have moved. They can now be found at: http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/

This is a good opportunity to once again bring attention to the rules on Recruitment. Over the past week, I've received several more complaints about illegal recruitment. For the benefit all, the current rules on this are:

Under no circumstances are pilots allowed to try and recruit members of other Squadrons into their own. This includes: the posting of recruitment messages on EH message board, emailing pilots in other squadrons or Cadets with recruitment messages, trying to recruit in EH IRC channels. You may advertise your Squadron on the Recruitment board. Pilots are allowed to email Cadets in general help matters, but no spamming or attempts of direct recruitment.
The ONLY exception to these rules is with Elite CMDRs, who may email pilots from other Squadrons with invitations to join their Squadron, providing that they CC that particular pilot's superior Officers.

These are pretty simple and need no explaining. People caught breaking these rules the first time will receive a warning. Further infractions will be dealt with by the Security Officer. I'm beginning to lose patience with people who can't follow these straightforward rules, so you're advised not to go against them.

- I bring attention to the new EH Bylaw:

Leadership positions within the Emperor's Hammer and its Subgroups are integral to the on-line experience of all members and the voluntary application and assumption of such duties is welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated. However, because of the importance of continuity in leadership in maintaining the organisation, if a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and then resigns within an inappropriately short time (e.g. less than 6 months for Command Staff positions), the Member may be demoted to the Rank they were before application for the command position.

In particular, the Command Staff Positions require the utmost dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer officers, through their hard work and organisation, hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members frivolously applying for and then resigning from these Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank) may be subject to inquiry by the High Court of the Inquisitors for violation of the various rules and regulations of this club. This policy shall be effective for all appointments after July 1, 2001.
