TIE Corps Homepage Standards

Myself and the Internet Officer, FA Ari, have produced a list of standards that ALL TC homepages must meet:

Mandatory Pages:

• News page
• Squadron/Wing orders
• Competitions/War Room - current and past with results

Mandatory Links:

• TC Main Page
• TC Message Board
• Flight Office (Fleet Standing Orders)
• EH Main Page
• Privacy Policies and Disclaimers
• Articles of War and Codes of Conduct

Recommended Pages & Links:

• Recruitment Page/Enlistment Link
• Squadron/SovWing/Ship/BG Standing Orders
• Roster/Link to eh.net roster
• Manual Links (Training, Ops, Combat, Fleet, War etc)
• Various Office/Bio pages
• Other message board links
• Reports listing
• Periodical awards (i.e. WC's Own, Pilot of the Month, etc.)

Additional guidelines:

• Wing/BG pages should preferably have an automated news system with CMDRs(for Wing pages)/COMs(for BG pages) able to post.
• Links must be up-to-date (i.e. no links to the old "TC Message Center")
• Credit should be given to the original author(s) of the page, as well as any current maintainers.
• Font is preferably anything but Times New Roman, default size.
• Site should work on 800x600 and 1024x768 resolutions.

Squadron Commanders and above: Make sure your pages meet these requirements - you have TWO weeks to bring them up to standard. My Flight Office staff are currently reviewing all pages so make sure you do it. If you have any questions, then send them to spellfire@btinternet.com

Omega Commander

Following General Compton's resignation earlier this week, a new CMDR for the Elite Omega Squadron has been selected. Congratulations go out to Colonel Sasquatch! Sas was my very first CMDR in the TC, and remains one of the finest I've ever seen. I have high hopes for him and the Squadron.

Relentless Commodore

After a considerable delay, a new COM for the ISD Relentess has been selected. Congrats go out to the former Wing XI WC, Rear Admiral Autoris. There were 3 or 4 excellent applicants, and the decision was not easy. However, myself and VA Krax are confident the correct selection has been made and expect Autoris to continue his standard of command on the Rel.

TIE Corps Banner Contest Results

The TC banner competition is now over and I've decided on the winners:

1st: Captain Tempest, Kappa Squadron, awarded Iron Star - Gold Ribbon
2nd: Lieutenant Colhar Jeth Sudar, Storm Squadron, awarded Iron Star - Silver Ribbon
3rd: Lieutenant Colonel Wysseri Arestar, Omicron Squadron, awarded Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon
