Salute!!

AD Jeff “Tiger” Loruss reporting in for Avenger Task Force
W/E 03.16.03- Report #33

>This week has seen some big Changes in the ATF- With this in mind I am going to be discussing and at some point reminding most of the command staff what it means to be in command of a squad and up in the ATF. This is not to be mean and make people mad. In fact its for the new and incoming people that will take up command staff positions in the near future if not a ways down the road.

So to begin I am going to restate many of the standing orders to even be considered for a command staff position or higher in any form for the EH at large. I also must add a few items in that pertain to the ATF only since we are the DB fleet.

Here is the list of requirements that must be met in order to be considered for a command staff position in the ATF. These are in part Standing orders for the EH and will be made Standing requirements for the ATF from this day forward. If you cannot meet one of these requirements do not even take the time to apply since you will be washed out of your command spot within 6 weeks of your being assigned. That’s not to be mean folks its to keep squads and or wings and both ships from going to disrepair. Yes I say disrepair because currently that’s where we are at. We have a long hard road ahead to rebuild our losses in pilots. I would like all CMDR’s and up to mail me personally reaffirming their commitments to the positions they hold.

The requirements-
1)- Must have a mail turn around time of no more than 36 hours.
2)- Must have passed the SM/3 course
3)- Must have a very strong presence on IRC. Not less than 1 hour a day for the first 2-3 months for WC’s and at least 1 hour every other day for CMDR’s
4)- Must be active in a house and Clan to even be considered for the position.
5)- Must be at the a minimum rank of MAJ for WC’s and at least the rank of LCM for CMDR. Although we have been known to consider LT’s for the position of CMDR.
6)- Must be able to set up and run monthly if not quick weekly COMPs.
7)- Must also have a plan set up and ready to go into effect for the rebuilding and if needed restructuring of the wing or squad depending on your assignment.
8)- As always weekly reports must be turned in no later than Saturday nights for WC’s Sundays for COM’s and Friday’s for CMDR’s- CMDR’s if you have your FL’s reporting in their activity then they must do it before Friday nights.
9)- The BGCOM reserves the right to have any new Command Staff personnel Removed before their 45 day probationary period has ended. This is for any reason that has to do with not fulfilling the duties and responsibilities to the wing and or squad depending on your assignment.

Folks i am looking for a new breed of leader. One that will take their new command to new and bigger heights than have ever been seen before. I will no longer accept mediocre work nor any slackers. We are all here for one thing and one thing only. A release from RL which turns to fun in a big way. All CMDR’s and up start by leading as an example to their Command. Whatever your squad does best you as the leader at least have to join in to make the squad as active as possible. If you can’t even do this then you cannot possibly hope to make even a flight of pilots active.

For those that have done this many times over please tutor and or answer the questions of new command staff coming in. in this way we can train our new people and get them to build squads that will rival our most active squads of old.

>CJ- Expect this to be updated within the next day or so. We are now 8 days from the end of the month and things still seem a little slow compared to last month seeing at least 10-12 new never before seen players sign up :P

Next month is gonna be even better for this COMP. COL Smitrock came to me with an idea for adding two new components to the COMP. While I do not know if they were his idea or if someone put him up to bringing it to me I don’t know. What I do know is that they are great ideas and I have enlisted Smit’s help as usual in getting these to the ATF web site. Those changes will be posted as soon as I update CJ.

I suppose you’re wondering what sort of changes or additions should I say could we possibly make to CJ ??
Well we are going to add Fiction and Graphics to the mist of monthly fun. These two new sections will be run by smitrock. He will choose the topics for both sections and will also be the sole judge for it. He will then send me posts for updating the Web site with. Rules and such will be posted shortly before the end of this month so please look forward to this as well as all the usual fun of CJ.

>Squad Wars- I am currently compiling these scores and am even thinking of taking on one pilot to help me run the next one as I feel we will get a much larger response in the second running of the comp. For those that are interested in helping out there are medals or promos to be had for dedicated and non stop work. I am looking for reliable people as I will be counting on said people to get this done without fail.

Alright folks that’s it for this week keep those CJ submissions and sign ups coming and I’ll see you next week same time same bat channel :P
