-6 Months-
24 reports. 6 months. I don't
have very much news to fill this report space, so I thought I'd point out that
milestone. Coming up on 6 months since the split, 6 months since the Avenger Task Force was
decimated by the departure of almost its entire flag staff and the loss of
around 20 pilots. We have bounced back, though. A new generation of leaders has
emerged to take charge of the ATF, and the once-dead competition of BGCOM's
Judgment is now fuelled by the energies of a fresh core of young pilots fighting
for the glory of their wings. I want to thank all the pilots and officers of the
ATF for making my first 6 months as Battlegroup Commander so enjoyable and
rewarding. Here's to another 6 months!
-Emperor's Hammer Battle Launcher-
No
doubt you've all heard about this new program, but it is my duty to inform and
so I will repeat it here. The EHBL (which can be downloaded from the navigation
menu when you log in at http://www.emperorshammer.net/admin.asp)
is the future of single-player gaming in the TIE Corps, and will become the only
allowed way to fly TIE, XvT, and XWA missions for competitions or leisure on
November 1st. It is basically an all-in-one custom mission installation program,
which loads up EH missions at the click of a button, and also enables the
necessary patches such as the 'Transport Fly All' or 'Rebel Craft Fly All' for
TIE Fighter.

- If you experience any problems with installation or using the EH Battle
Launcher, be sure to read the documentation included with the program, and then
check out the discussion thread at http://theholo.net/mb/viewtopic.php?p=124358.
If you can't find a solution to your problem by reading through that thread,
make a post about your problem with as much information and detail as you can,
so that someone can help you sort it out.
-Imperial Storm IV Wargame-
I continue to
place the ATF's tactical moves with the War Officer each day, but obviously I
can't divulge what our plans or location are. The first actual combat of the
wargame is set to take place tomorrow, as the TIE Corps Battlegroups' fleet has
encountered a lone Corvette from the Sovereign fleet. Watch the TC news page for
details.
-Rage CMDR-
CM Dash Rendar has
stepped down as Rage CMDR, but thankfully is staying on with us as a Flight
Member. A new Rage CMDR has been picked, but the decision awaits FO approval.
-Hunter CMDR-
A
new Hunter CMDR has been chosen, and will be announced shortly.
-Wraith CMDR-
CPT
Flelm has been pronounced MIA, and a new CMDR has been decided upon for Wraith
Squadron, but that decision also awaits the FO's stamp of approval.
-BGCOM's Judgment-
The
BJ site (http://bj.tiecorps.net) was reset
for October's round of the competition. Jedi Academy was added as a supported
multiplayer ladder. All Iron Stars from September's BJ have been approved by the
OPS.
-Emperor's Hammer Newsletters-
XO
Astatine has been churning out newsletters in an attempt to get the EH caught up
on all overdue back-issues. Newsletters 95, 96, 97, 98, and 99 have all been

and remember- you can submit graphics, fiction, articles, just about anything to

for inclusion in the next newsletter, and you will be rewarded for each
submission. I urge all pilots of the ATF to do so!

Write a story set in the future of your TIE Corps career. Where will you be? What will you have done? You could be Commodore of the SSD Avenger, Executive Officer of the Emperor's Hammer, or busted down to Cadet for misdemeanours. Use your imagination.
