Okay, the guide to getting your profile back to pre-crash status has been removed, I'm sure most of you have gotten that taken care of or the CSers have stopped taking fixes for it. Activity is definately lacking on the ship and I'm disappointed. I do however want to give a hand to LCM Jon Ardan, who returns to active duty while home from the hospital where he's been battling leukemia. I also want to give a hand to LT Bran Korr for getting off to a good start in his career and quickly making it to LT. I managed to fly 38 missions myself this week and I enjoyed it. I would like to run a flying competition, but I believe with normal activity low at best, I am doubtful there would be many participants. I am currently thinking about having a mini-SC on the ship during August, but we'll see. I would like to see the ship at 50 pilots by the end of the month, we only need three more pilots. For the time being, I want all Valkyrie and Tartarus pilots to send their BSFs to me until their new CMDRs are in place. If you're interested in being one of the commanders please send your applications to COL Yoda (yoda@minos.net) and myself (thrawn@kc.rr.com) within the week. Here are the requirements for the positions:
CMDR Requirements:
-Must have completed SM2 or 3
-Process BSFs and reply to emails within 24 Hours
-Preferably a decent IRC presence
-Must be able to recruit and motivate
You will be expected to release a weekly report and to carry out atleast one tour (four months) in the case of the Valkyrie CMDR position
It'd also be nice if they can make a website for their squadron and FCHG/CR Rankings will make an impression on us (Activity = Rewards (Promotions & Medals))
A few words on the Tartarus T-CMDR position:
-The T-CMDR will be selected from the pool of Valkryie CMDR applicants (Though I will allow applying for either directly, if you're applying for Valkyrie CMDR and not interested in the T-CMDR spot, please tell us and vice versa)
-The T-CMDR will be a Temporary position for the time being, you will be CMDR only until COL DarkC's return, but if she believes you are doing a good enough job, you will probably be allowed to retain the position.
-The T-CMDR will be expected to treat this as a normal CMDR position by releasing weekly reports and processing BSFs in a timely manor.
-Should the T-CMDR perform their job well, they will be awarded a medal (probably a PC) and given a preferential status in the next CMDR Selection. Also if the T-CMDR is below the rank of CM, I may allow them to retain the rank of CM.
Anyway, it's time for the TC Meeting (Sundays at 3 CST (9 GMT) in #tiecorps), so I'm going to wrap this up. I would like to see some activity this week. Get busy!
