Pilot's Lounge
"We can beam you there," the engineer said.
"Beam, what's that?" Khadgar said, arching an eyebrow.
"Just something to refer to moving an object or person from one area to another without them walking."
"Very well, I'll give it a shot."
"Okay, just stand on that pad. You should be there in no time."
Khadgar walked onto what apparently was supposed to be a "transporter pad".
"Okay... Energize!" the engineer said.
Khadgar stood on the pad, not seeing anything changing.
"Oh no, we're losing power! We need to divert power from the auxiliary banks! We just can't take this any longer!"
Khadgar continued to stand on the pad, nothing happening.
"I think I'll just walk," Khadgar said.
"Very well..." the engineer said, seeming disappointed.
Khadgar walked out of the door of his Wing Commander's office.
He faced the right, and walked forward a few paces.
He then faced right again, and entered the door marked, "Commodore".
Approaching the desk on the far side of the room, he sat down.
The computer located on the desk chimed in, "Special message awaiting Rear Admiral Khadgar."
"Very well, play."
"Greetings, Khadgar, this is Sarin. Recently, I have been chosen to perform a special mission on behalf of the Empire. This mission requires that I move on as Grey Wolf Commodore. You have been selected and approved to take back your old seat. Congratulations, and keep it well during my absence!"
Letters from the Cardinal...
"And now, the next Wing Commander of Wing XIII is..."
The anciticipation was too much, finally it would be put to rest.
"Indeed, an applicant has been selected, it's..."
"We got quite a few applications, many of them were well-written..."
"Anyway, on with the selection... it's... it's..."
Suddenly, the Cardinal collapsed to the floor, a dagger in back.
"Noooo!" someone cried out.
"Yes, it's terrible, look what's happened!"
"Not that, now he can't announce the Wing Commander!"
News
- In case you've been avoiding any sort of contact lately... Sarin recently retired to the Reserves, and I was selected as the new Commodore. Drinks are indeed on me, Tiss. :P
- A new Wing Commander has also been selected. Even though it's been mentioned in a number of reports already, it won't be mentioned here. An announcement will be officially made once the change is refelected on the roster.
- Minos.net is currently down. This means that a number of EH pages, along with the Message Boards will be out for an expected few days.
- Some new battles and missions came out from the Tactical Office this week. Give them a shot!

Commodore's Office
Basically, this week the important thing is to have read over the Commodore's introductory letter.
It outlines some focuses that will be pursued by myself and the new Wing Commander.
Among these objects are recruitment and Multiplayer activity opportunities.
I'm planning to keep the current competitions created by COM Sarin, and submit some of my own shortly.
As for the new Wing Commander, expect the successful applicant should be in place shortly.
