-COL Drake was promoted to the rank of General. Also, MAJ Archon is the new WC for the ISD Grey Wolf. Congrats to both!

-With RA Auto moving to the Reserves, he is trying to set up arraingements to keep the wingxi.net domain up and running. However, I've set up a website for the ISD Immortal that is located at www.immortal.tiecorps.net as a backup.
-Everyone welcome the new Ghost CMDR, MAJ Bobxavi who has returned to us.
-Also, MAJ Dark Hawk has stepped up to the plate and is the new Falcon CMDR.
-We've got a lot of new faces, (which I'll leave to the WC to report on), but everyone make them feel welcome.!
-With a problem trying to BSF the files for the XWA Ladder comp, the results have been delayed a few days. I hope to have them back soon.

Ship News
-Our new monkeys continue to create havoc. Rumors are that some areas of the ship, pilots are having to barricade their doors to keep them out of their rooms at night.
-The mechanics are beginning to complain about all the monkey fur that is showing up in the engines of our fighters. So, please, don't ram the monkeys.
-MAJ Mosh's gundark was found hiding under Mosh's bed yesterday. We're not sure why, but he shows an irrational fear of banana's now....
-MAJ Mark is trying to get used to his new Tie Phantom. He apparently tried to land it last night and forgot the cloaking device was still on. (The landing crew did need a dry pair of pants though when that Phantom came screaming into the hangar cloaked....)

Already this is showing results. We've got several pilots who are awaiting assignment and should be reporting for duty soon. If you would like to be a Roughneck and help recruit, contact me for your Tour of Duty.
Competition Corner
-Name the Mascots comp is running. Now that I've imported 3 space monkeys to be our mascots, they need names. Send suggestions to myself and BL for judging or post on our MB. (Last chance!)
-New graphic comp. Each pilot may submit up to 5 different graphics. They must be around the size of 400 x 200 and feature the ISD Immortal and a recruiting slogan. This will be used by our Roughnecks as they prowl other Message Boards on the lookout for recruits. Due by Thursday! (Last chance!)
