Hi guys,

I'm doing this report in the benefit of "no-internet-world" where I am reduced to a dial-up modem, which costs by the minute. Therefore I cannot access the TIE Corps page at the time of writing and have no clue which number report this is. I do *think* it's five, but bugger me if I can remember, so ner. :P (I will also not be at the TC meeting, those that are interested, sorry!)

Anyway, some pretty funky news this week:

1: Challenge wins Internet Office Site of the Week. This is the first time I've ever won this award, probably will only ever be the only time I win this award, and I'm rightfully pleased with myself. You may now commence to worship, and adore the website even more. In celebration, all drinks in the bar are on me for the next week. :)

2: My router is dead. This means that I can't access my DSL connection at the moment and everything is going to happen about ten times slower than usual. As you should know, I have four speeds: Faster than lightning, slow, dead slow, and I have now added "stop" to the list. :P

3: I will be starting work with RA Sarin shortly in planning a competition between both our Wings. This should be a fairly tactical competition, and at the moment we're looking at pairing up squadrons, one from each ship to a pair, as a means to foster some teamwork and hopefully learn a bit from each other. More on that when it pops up. :) I believe Seph also has some competitions nearing readiness to go.

4: New CMDR appointments this week were LC Styles to Cyclone and CPT Chris McCollum to Tempest. Both are fine officers and I look forwards to a period of regeneration and improvement in both squadrons. Yes, I'm late with the congratulations. Sue me. :P

5: Also, congratulations to Inferno CMDR, Frey Gallandro, who was promoted to Major this week, and CM Alimet, who was promoted to Captain.
