-The COM of the SSD Avenger has retired due to RL military obligations. Although apps will be accepted, DON'T send them in now. If you do, Pri will be sure to put them in his "To Shred" file. Wait until you see those nifty little requirements posted.
-The Telarian Gaming Staff is looking for volunteers. The official reason is to test a new XvT gaming room to be used in future WoW's. However, I have some "official" sources that tell me that actually they are looking for test subjects to use their new "Super-Dooper Finger Numbing Kit". -LC Thorn is the new WC for Wing III. We look forward to stomping his wing in the ground in future comps.
-RA Frodo is now the new COM for the ISD Intrepid. Many of you remember him as a FL in Ghost last year. Now, our prayers and thoughts go out to all the poor souls that serve under him on the Intrepid now.....


News That You Can Use
-BL is still on leave. He should be back around the 6th. Until then, it's party time!!
-We have several CMDR's on leave right now. However, I still need your MSE's in to me quickly. Be sure that BL gets a copy too.
-The Wargame is proceeding fairly smoothly. Except for me making a few stupid mistakes (which have been caught by our eagle-eyed team captains), it's doing well. I'm hoping that some of the teams will begin to run across each other soon, because I really want to see some action. :)
-Last month we flew nearly 800 missions. This month I challenge everyone to break the 1,000 mission mark. To help us with this, I'm running a FCHG race comp this month. The pilot that increases his/her FCHG rank the most will recieve a IS-SW. The runner up will recieve a IS-BW.
-Beginning next week, Monday afternoons will be our "XWA Melee Training Day". Basically, everyone can hang out in #isd_immortal. I'll be flying XWA melees most of the afternoon and encouraging everyone else to do the same. It'll be a practice day for us, where it won't matter if we win or lose, but we can gain some MP experience. Spread the word and invite others as well.

Competition Corner
-GN Badlands has started a Wing Comp. The first stage is a run-on on our MB's. It can be found at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=6055.
-FCHG Race-The pilot who increases their FCHG rank the most will be awarded a IS-SW. The runner up will recieve a IS-BW.
-Immortal Wargame -Our wargame comp has started. Your squadron commanders have got all the current info. The first fleet movements are due by Wednesday. If anyone has a question about this, feel free to email me. I've attached a copy of the final rules to this email, but we can always update it as we need to in order to keep things fair.
-SotMA -I need a banner that can be awarded to the Squadron of the Month (yes, I'm bring that back seeing as how I never really instituted it). You have until 6/20/03 to get it sent in. Each pilot may submit up to 5 banners. IS-SR to winner and IS-BR to runner up.
-PotMA -I need a banner that can be awarded to the Pilot of the Month. You have until 6/20/03 to get it sent in. Each pilot may submit up to 5 banners. IS-SR to winner and IS-BR to runner up.
