Greetings Pilots of WingXIII & fellow ASF FO's!
First off, i would like to say a big 'thank you' to all the Pilots and CMDR's of WingXIII for their efforts despite the lack of having a WC to watch over them. Good to see you guys still working despite the set back. Exellent work folks, you should all give yourself a pat on the back for that. Ok, i have some issues that need addressing also some major news for you guys to suck in and remember!!
I will be soon, planning some new projects alongside the new WC, whoever that may be. But i want to see some pilot input on this please!! Remember, if you don't put in, you get nothing back. I once gave the pilots of this wing the chance to send in articles for the WolfPack magazine, and got few entiries, so it was scrapped. It was a golden chance for you guys to have a say and feel more involved with the wing than you normaly are. Maybe next time round you will try a bit more harder as i created the mag for you guys, and not the flag staff.
Anyway.....peel those eye lids as we move swiftly onto the news section!!

1. WingXIII WC spot still open!! - Yes i am still activley accepting applications for this spot, i want as many as i can so i can land the right person for the job. As COM of the ship, it is down to my descretion to refuse any applicant for any reason or reservation that i have. But for those who wish to know the details, here the requirements that i have set for the position, and please note, these are not negotiable! If you have what i am looking for then by all means apply, if not, then don't waste my time trying to argue the point. Here we go then ladies and gents -
1. Must have held the position of CMDR in the TC for no less than 6 months in one tour.
2. Must have passed SM/2 & SM/3.
3. FCHG must be of a reasonable standard.
4. Be able to reply to mails and process BSF's within 24 hrs.
5. Good with communications.
6. Report on time each week.
7. Must be willing to handle a great deal of admin work to aid the running of the wing.
8. Good working knowledge of the TIE Corps database.
9. Be able to motivate pilots and keep the CMDR's working to improve their squads and performance.
10. Must be able to create and run various competitions for the wing when asked to do so.
11. Applicant must be 100% dedicated to the wing to see goals achieved, and have the will to drive to that end.
Wing XIII is XvT multiplayer, and applications are to be sent to Vice Admiral Azazel Djo'Tarr and Admiral Cyric with "Wing XIII WC" as the subject.
Please be sure to add your future plans for the wing, and what steps you'll take to encourage recruitment, activity and keep things running smoothly. Any comp ideas you may have will also be a bonus when applying for this position. Good luck.

2. ASF Wargames on hold - AD Cyric has announced that the ASF Wargames be put on hold until the new ASF COM & WC settle in. This is fair because the last thing a new Flag wants is to be thrown in at the deepend on his first day in that position. People need to find their feet natuarely.
3. NEW VAN COM! - Congratulations goes to my old friend, RA Ekim Yellek. I could'nt have picked a better guy for the job myself. Congrats Ekim you old pirate ;))~
4. Mission Skipping reminder - FA Striker, of the Tacticle Office has put a post on the TC main news page about Mission skipping. This has been a rather reacurring theme along the years. IF your having a problem with any particuler battle or mission, please don't skip it and then submit without saying a word!! Let the person submitting the battle, which mission was skipped, and give a reason. If you fail to do so, a load of twaddle has to be wrote in. I WILL not accept battles with skipped missions without a reason and a notification on which battle was skipped. FA Striker wants reasons and the correct mission number. So help us to help you! Let us know when you send the battle.
5. MSE Medals - I waded through my mail Wednesday and submitted all the medals that i had approved and were approved by the BGCOM. Now, if someone is missing a medal, look to your CMDR for the answer, and do not come to me. I do the BS's & PC ( note, PC's in the absence of a WC only). Your more than likely missing a ISM which your CMDR hands out to you. Don't go pestering your CMDR for an ISM if you did nothing at all. You don't deserve one if you have done nothing.
6. NEW GW Homepage!! - LT Per-Aa has worked very hard through this week to bring us a new well laid out website. I have had it added to the database, so you guys can go check it out. There is still some work to do on the site, but other than that, it looks better than most that i have seen, and i have seen quite a few in my time. Azazels Final Thoughts
Well another months awards have gone passed, and i have noticed a trend in that alot more pilots are getting better awards for the monthly efforts. This is a good sign that alot of you are working harder again. The summer has always been a very tough time for any ship in the EH. Alot of its members are out doing something with either family friends, and all that is normaly left is the old Gits like me who have other things to do like, pay bills, watch TV, plan that pention, next car, new house, home improvements, mowing that lawn or fixing that shed etc etc :P~
But, most of you have stayed busy despite going out and having a laugh with you mates, which is good. As i said long ago, all you need is a spare 30 mins to do a few battles or whatever each day, and your on your way to nice shiny medal. Sometimes i envy the FM who does'nt have to worry about ship numbers, medals, bsf's, comps etc. But i like responsability hence why i am the COM :)~
Ok Ladies and Gents, i would like to see more of you putting an appearance in on #wingxiii through the week if you can. I might want to discuss some matters with you, and just might want a chin wag and mess around. Anybody fancy holding a weekly trivia comp for a ISM or something? If so, mail me and we'll sort it out :D~ We used to have one in the channel many moons ago and it went down well!! So maybe that could be in the pipeline for around winter time or something. Open to discussion anyway.
