ISD Grey Wolf Report #33 - 12.21.01
Pilot's Lounge
An Imperial Shuttle docks with the Grey Wolf.
"Sir, we're at the planet. It appears to be an abandoned base of Rebel origin and some sort of temple." a Lieutenant reported
"Interesting... Prepare an away team to scan the surface." Khadgar said.
"At once, sir!"
Shortly after the away team was prepared, a Lieutenant approached Khadgar.
"Sir, a shuttle is heading for the ship, it's transmitting an Imperial code!"
"Well, what does it want?"
"Well sir, it requests permission to dock."
"Permission granted... Azazel, meet me in the hangar bay with a detachment of the best stormtroopers aboard the ship."
"All right, Khadgar," Azazel replied.
Shortly after, Khadgar approached the docked shuttle.
Two men walked out.
Azazel glanced at them, "Gentlemen, your names, ranks and service numbers, please?"
The first man spoke up, "Lieutenant General Brand, and my service number is 67."
"And you?" Azazel said, talking to the second man.
"Brigadier General Grulis, service number 68, sir."
"Lieutenant General? Brigadier General? Those ranks were taken out of the chain of command years ago!"
"Allow me to explain, sir," said Brand.
"My friend and I were on a mission of a special nature, accountable only to the Fleet Commander himself."
"I see," Khadgar said.
"Well gentlemen," Khadgar continued, "allow me to show you to your quarters".
"A quick word with you, Khadgar?" Azazel said.
"Certainly," Khadgar said, stepping towards Azazel.
"Sir," Azazel said in a quiet tone, "Those officers seem kind of fishy. We don't have any records of a Brand or Grulis."
"All right, you'd best keep a close eye on them."
"I hope you'll find these quarters to your liking, gentlemen." Khadgar said.
"Oh yes, they'll be more than adequate."
"Excellent," Khadgar said.
"... So, what will you two be doing now that you're back on an Imperial Star Destoryer of the Empire?"
"Well," Grulis said, "I think we should continue with our mission."
"Shouldn't you report to the Fleet Commander?"
"Ummm... No. Can't do that!"
"Why not?"
"Well, the Fleet Commander told us... Not to contact him... Yeah!"
Khadgar started to walk towards a terminal to verify the officer's story... And suddenly, the officers were gone.
Khadgar quickly used his ComLink, "Security team to crew quarters! Our officer friends appear to be on the run! Get them alive!"
"Confirmed, sir!"
Khadgar ran out onto the deck and didn't see the officers in sight.
"Sir, unauthorized shuttle launch in progress!"
Suddenly a message came over the Grey Wolf's Com system, "How easily you Imperials are fooled! There is now a bomb on your ship! The Grey Wolf will be space dust soon! Hah Hah!"
Khadgar used his ComLink again, "Where is that shuttle headed?"
The temple on the planet, sir!"

Windows Me: ...
Khadgar: I need to do my Report, open the Subfolder, Me!
Windows Me: I can't do that, Dave... I mean, Khad.
Khadgar: What?
Windows Me: I'm going to have to blue screen now, Khad.
Khadgar: No, you can't do this!
Windows Me: Oh, but I can!
*Khadgar crawls under his computer desk and starts unpluging wires.*
Windows Me: What are you doing, Khad?
Khadgar: Sorry, Me, I can't do Reports with you lingering.
Windows Me: Error, Error...
*Khadgar pulls another plug.*
Windows Me: Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do...
*Khadgar proceeds to write up his report.*
This was an account of a Windows Me used based on facts that were twisted into an enjoyable Report column. No Computers were harmed in the making of this column.
