"... It's the Imperial Star Destroyer Grey Wolf!"
"Uh oh," Janson muttered.
"You'd better get here fast sir,"
"I'm on my way!"
Janson and Flint used the computer to get a map of the ship and made their way towards the bridge.
Upon their arrival, a control operation cut in, "Excellency, I've got a transmission incoming from the Grey Wolf."
"Put in on."
"This is Vice Admiral Khadgar of the Imperial Star Destroyer Grey Wolf, lower your shields and prepare to be boarded!"
Janson stuttered a response, "Erm... No... You... Fiend... We will... nev... nev... never surrender!"
On the Grey Wolf, Vice Admiral Khadgar slipped a finger across his throat to indicate that he wanted the transmission paused.
"Transmission paused, sir."
"That sounds like Janson..."
"Aye sir," Azazel said, "A bit odd to find him on a rogue ship, wouldn't you say?"
"We'll just have to assume that he's still with us, let's play along."
"Continue transmission."
"As I was saying, you have two minutes to carry out my request or you will force us to open fire."
"This is... Prince... Ty... Tyrath, we will do no such thing!"
"Very well," Khadgar said, "Khadgar out."
"What are our orders, sir?"
"Right, hmm... Do we have shields and weapons?"
"Oh yes, sir."
"Wow, this is qutie impressive."
"That's great sir, but we might want to use them to avoid dying within three seconds of the Grey Wolf opening its turolaser batteries."
"Oh, right, great plan... Raise shields and prepare weapons."
"As you command, Excellency."
"I will be... going to my office now."
Janson wandered down the halls away from the bridge with Flint.
"We've got to get off this thing!" Janson said.
"Follow me," Flint said.
Flint dashed down the corridor, Janson following close behind.
Shortly, they came to a wide door.
"What's this?"
"You'll see."
Flint punched in some access codes and the door slid open.
Flint beckoned Janson, "All right, I have us covered, keep coming."
Janson followed Flint into a shuttle with purple banners draped on it.
"What's this?"
"Your personal shuttle... Excellency. Heh Heh."
Janson chuckled.
Flint looked at a control panel in the cockpit of the shuttle.
"All right, give me a few moments..."
Flint punched a combination of buttons quickly and grinned.
"I'll right, the ship's shields are down, and we're set for launch."
Janson smiled, "Great work, Flint."
Flint pressed a red button and the shuttle lunged forward.
On the Grey Wolf, Vice Admiral Khadgar looked out of the ship's bridge
"What is that shuttle?"
"It appears to be a pirate shuttle, sir. Shall I open fire?"
"No, no, put them on audio."
The Lieutenant nodded. "Shuttle, indentify yourself!"
"It's me, Janson!"
"Janson! Good to hear you again... Now then, get aboard immediately before the pirates know what hit them."
"I'm on it," Janson replied.
"I believe our friends have had ample time to respond," Khadgar said.
"Lieutenant, target their weapons systems, disable them... Make sure the ship is intact for boarding."
"Understood, sir."
Shortly, a detachment of stormtroopers boarded the pirate ship and secured the spice supplies and documents aboard the ship.
Flint and Janson made their way towards the Grey Wolf's bridge.
When they got there, they saw Khadgar sitting in the Commodore's chair.
"Permission to come aboard, sir?" Janson announced.
"Granted," Khadgar smiled, "Who's your friend?"
"This is Captain Flint, sir, he helped me with my mission."
"Well, Captain Flint, good to have you aboard. Would you be interested in serving aboard the Grey Wolf?"
"Sir, I'd be honored!"
Khadgar grinned, "Drinks are on me, then!"
And there was much rejoicing.

Wow, I've been doing this Cardinal stuff over a year?
Seems as though the old gold staff needs a good polish, the robes some drycleaning from the stains of wine, which was bought with embezzled--errr... Never mind.
Anyways, I just wanted to thank everyone for their positive feedback towards this weekly article.
Those who submitted negative feedback were also appreciated, although they've gone missing since their complaints.
I've covered a lot in a year... How much of it is useful is probably marginal at best. :P
I've gone from encounters with Technical Support to making quips about the name "Attack of the Clones" (Snicker).
I'd just like to thank everyone for reading and their continued interest!

I'd like to Congratulate Tartarus on their excellent performance in Avenger vs Tartarus. Even though they didn't win, they still did amazingly well. :)
