I have been seeing a lot of verbal comments flying around.."my squads better!" "No way ours is!! we won this.. and we won that..." "No, ours is, we have the best pilots" etc etc etc... The time has come for you guys to start proving it!! Words mean nothing unless they can be backed up with some action!! COM's own Escort Squadron is hereby an official title given out to the best squad on the ship!! WC's Own is usually decided based on general activity and overall reliability.. COM's own is based purely on flying!! Basic rules.. highest scoring squadron wins. To make it fair, the total score of the squadron will be based on an average of pilots within the squadron, participating or not. Pilots that fail to complete the selected battle will only be hurting their squadrons score, so everyones participation counts! Since this month is almost over.. the first round will be a free mission.. FREE-XWA 10! I expect commanders reports to be in my office no later than Nov. 1st. Now I know lots of you are asking Why??? well.. there are a couple reasons, now the board is in the tc message center forum, so it will generate a lot more traffic. Also, your posts get added, and i think it's after 100 you earn a MoC.

Tribe wars missions are still being tested. I received submissions from 7/9 tribes. Thanks to Arso and Dras Hempor for your help testing them out :) The winning mission will be announced tomorrow, and then the flying begins ! I would like to say that everyone who submitted a mission did outstanding work! You're all getting really good at mission design! Banger and Spearhawk incorperated several of our voices into their missions.. makes it even that much more fun to fly!! Can't wait to see these all approved by TAC!

Octoberfest challenge..it's nice to see some of you taking this seriously.. so far 10 pilots have finished all 9 battles.. some of you are only 1 or 2 battles away!! I will be giving out awards .. if that's enough incentive to you, but an order directly from the COM should be incentive enough!! I want to see the bsf's rolling through my inbox.. even if you have to finish it with invulnerable, unlimited ammo...fly fly fly!!

There has been a lot of talk about opening Vampire Squadron! Let me make this clear, that this will not happen unless we have full active squads!! This means recruiting and succeeding in all projects that are assigned to your squades. Our goal is to have 45 pilots before opening it, so that's only 7 more! I really would like to see a new flight of fighters joining our ranks :)

The survey was sent out more than a week ago.. and i've only received 10 responses!! This is a mandatory survey, it doesn't take a lot of time to write your comments.. get to it!! So far, the feedback has been great, and we will be working on several improvements based on suggestions. Everyone's opinion matters when it comes to making this ship active and happy. All replies should be sent to myself and COL Mell.

Okay.. I have promised many many times that I will be updating the site..I have been having some computer technical problems and will be reloading windows.. again sheesh.. updates will be done hopefully tomorrow if all goes well. This will include updates to the personnel map, merit points, roster, and news page. Let me know if there are any other changes you would like to see... ie.. *coughhonorlistcough* adrenaline@stardestroyer.org -- I promise.. I won't spend my whole day flying TIE battles and playing D2 and chatting on irc :P promise ....

We will be holding a meeting on irc #isd_immortal this weekend and are hoping to have this be an ongoing ritual. 8pm GMT (that's 1200 PST.. 3pm EST) Commanders will give reports on the squadrons activities and pilots are invited to share their thoughts afterwards. Hope to see a lot of you there.. we 'may' implement attendance onto the merit system.
