VA Adrenaline reporting in for the ISD Immortal - February 2, 2001
Crazy, I can't believe January flew by so fast! It was a very progressive month for our ship, and I hope to see February full of as much activity and high spirits. This month, we will be defending our title of Flagship of the Battlegroups, as recently announced by our BGCOM. I know you all have what it takes to keep our ship on top during this comp! I would like to thank all the Commanders for getting their MSE's in promptly this month, you are all welcome to join me and Badlands in the cantina later for some drinks later tonight ! This week , we saw one of our oldest and most loyal officers get a promotion which forced him to transfer off our mighty vessel.. congratulations to RA Arso Slyth as he becomes the new CA:TAC. His presence on board will be missed, and we hope to see him back one day! With our loss, we've also seen many new faces, (and some old ones too ) and I hope you all have greeted our new pilots with a good ol Immortal style welcome ! On that note.. let me fill you in on some semi-interesting news ...

RA Arso.. that's right! Rear Admiral! has found a new home on the SSSD Sovereign, as he leaves to serve by the TAC's side as CA:TAC. A replacement for his position as Ghost CMDR will be announced as soon as the FO approves it.

Merit Point System :
The merit point system is still in effect, however I am currently working on a revision to the system. The previously approved by OPS system seems to be degrading the Bronze Star and other merit medals .. so basically you'll just have to collect more points for your medals now. From the office of our BGCOM, VA Jarak : "Glory to the Empire, pilots and officers! This has been a most interesting week, and we top it off by approaching the end of the month! Tomorrow is February 1st, a month that will herald the start of the 3rd Cantina Run. You heard right, people, the flagship of the Battlegroups will again be decided this month in a mulit-phase competition that will start shortly.An entire report will be devoated to this epic event. " <--------- okay pilots! Time to step it into high gear! Looks like our title of Flagship is being threatened by a little comp.. I hope you are all prepared to fight for the glory of our mighty ship, the ISD Immortal! ;) More info will be out shortly! Let's kick ass!
XWA League III - Fly FREE-XWA 17 by this Saturday , Feb. 3. Commanders are to have their reports in to LC Badlands no later than Feb.3 (tomorrow)! Ragner lead the first round, slightly ahead of Demon Squadron.. can they keep their lead, or will we see a new squadron step up to take the honors.. remember also there is a reward for being the highest scoring pilot so get your pilot files in!

Falcon vs Hey Squadron! - pilots are flying FREE-XWA 12 by February 18th. The top three scorers from each squadron will be added together and the squadron with the highest score will win. The highest scorer overall will receive an IS:CR. Go Falcon, rack up another victory!

Ghost Squadron comp has ended, and it looks like Rougewing and Riccardo were the winners ( Flight 2 ). They
killed the opposition with over 100 points. They both were awarded their ISMs respectively.

COMS OWN for January - I came up with a new formula to decide COM's Own, this month, I decided it might be fun to use average bsfs submitted by each pilot per squadron.. here's some results of that :P
Ghost: 7.28
Ranger: 9.16
Falcon: 3.77
Phantom: 2
Demon: 10.6
Although it's another close call between Demon and Ranger, it looks like Demon Squadron has again taken this most honorable title again! Well, they have also been in top form for comps and pilots have shown great communication with each other. This is shaping up to be one of the TC's top XWA squadrons! Go Demon!
Who knows what I will use to judge next months top contender.. keep active and having fun, and who knows, maybe your squadron will have what it takes to earn a spot as my personal escort squadron!!
