COM/RA Woobee reporting
in : 18-Mar-2001
I'm most pleased to see the new week kick off woth a large
number of BSF approvals rolling past my desk from the Tactical office. This
is very encouraging to me. What I find a little discouraging though in these
statistics is that some squadrons are responsible for very few of these.
However, positive steps are being taken, and I am quite sure the numbers will be
a lot better next week.
Earlier this week the Executive Officer, SA Kawolski
announced a whole bunch of interesting things in his fourth XO report, including
the closure of the Naval Corp. This has been viewed by many as an opportunity to
aquire more pilots for TC ships. I hope there's a few people attracted to the
charm of the Grey Wolf. In any event, the ASF as a whole should do well out of
this.
I think the impending emergence of the Emperor's Hammer
database, superseding the current TIE Corps database, will be a great step
forward for the TC and the EH as a whole. I was very pleased to read what
Kawolski had to say about that. I think the difference will be most noticeable
for CMDRs up, with greatly improved administration features.
Some more good news for you pilots. At last we have most of the
monthly squadron evaluations we are going to get, so this week I went through
the recommendations and actioned them as appropriate. Congratulations to
recipients of medals and promotions. Sorry about delays on some of the medals,
the Operations Officer is being a major pain in the neck, so some I have
reccommended have not been approved yet. All who had fun in February can give
yourselves a big pat on the back. I trust you are all having fun in
March?
You all saw it in Brucmack's wing report. WoW is here again! We
are the EH's ambassadors for multiplayer melees. I would like to see lots of
Wing XIII names on XvT matches, and quite a few on XWA matches as well. I love
WoW, even Australians can get involved.
Last of all. I would like to say ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!
Thank you to some people in #wingxiii for bringing that to my
attention yesterday. You know who you are.
