Hello again people. What a big week it has been for me. It is a big job running a mile long starship! Things change very quickly around here sometimes.

 

I've been in touch with you all on he subject of the closure of Odin squadron and the change of CMDRs. This was a period of neccessary upheaval, we shall be stronger for it.

 

Pilots have expressed concerns in various forums about the recent decline in roster numbers on this ship. There has been some pesimissim as a result of this from some people. This I understand. I would like to reassure those that are concerned about the drop in numbers that everything is going to be OK. :)

 

What are we here for in the TIE Corps. I'll tell you what I am here for: To have fun, and help others have fun being pilots for the Empire. Having a big roster is great, because it means more people to participate with. Having a smaller roster doesn't mean the fun stops. As long as the wheels are turning smoothly and we have enough people to keep squadrons and ships functional, we have no worries at all.

 

Recruitment is important, because the more people we have the more people we have to enjoy the fun with. First priority is the fun though. More important than ranks, medals, positions and statistics. Anyone in a position of authority is put there because they have demonstrated an ability to have fun and to help others do the same. When you're thinking about your TC career, think about that. How much would you like to help your fellow pilots?

 

Things are starting to come together people. The squadrons that have had recent instability are finding their feet again. Some new blood is coming in to the ship, and going by the reports I am seeing more is on the way. I'm very pleased with your peformance pilots.

 

Hopefully this week I will be able to spend less time on solving crisises, and more time on helping Bruc with the Grey Wolf website and putting together some more competitions. Fingers crossed pilots!
