Pilot's of the GW and fellow ASF Flags.
Welcome to another GW report. I am please to see the activity around the ship keeping at a steady pace, but, i feel there are some area's which need some vast improvement! And i mean....VAST improvement. I will address this later in my report so the CMDR's can get to work on the matter.
We also have been challenged to a comp by the WC of the ISDII Vanguard, i will give you a brief outline on the comp details before i arrange a start date for it with LC Tarkin. This should be like a Feud/Vendetta in the DB, it will incompass alot of deciplines that the TC has to offer.
Anyway.....on with the show ;)

1. ASF War games - AD Cyric is looking for someone to help with the ASF war game. Since Ender left, he will need someone in the ASF to help in the planning and scoring of the matches. This person will not be able to participate for their ship in the war game. If interested, please let me know.

2. They Come They Go - Some of the vacant positions in the EH STAFF are now open due to the persons having to leave -

VA Drake has resigned as the TIE BGCOM
And for the record, i am also staying in my position! Hehe.....i'm not quite done yet with the EH and this ship!! >:}
3. WingXV vs WingXIII - Today LC Tarkin, WC of WingXV sent me a mail with the intentions to hold a comp against WingXIII. Here is a brief outline of the comp details for you guys to have a butchers at -

Single Player
There will be 1 XvT battle and 1 XWA battle selected for our pilots to fly. Pretty straight forward. Top 3 pilots are the winners. Pilot files are to be send to the WC of both Wings.
Multi player
There will be a XvT and a XWA ladder. The pilots of one Wing may only challenge the pilots of the other Wing. Matches between pilots of the same Wing are not accepted. You may fly as much times as you want. All pilots reserve the right to decline a challenge. I have enough faith in our pilots sense of sportsmanship that they wont decline just because they know they’ll lose. Standerd EH MP rules apply to matches.
Participation points
Points will be given out based on the number of pilots in a Wing that play in this competition. If 100% of the Wing competes, they will get 30 points. For example, Wing A has 50 pilots. Of those 50, 30 play in the competition. That means Wing A will get (30/50)*30= 18 points. Wing B has 40 pilots. Of those 40, 25 play. That means Wing B will get (25/40)*30= 18,75 (which will be rounded up to 19, as thats the nearest whole number). It does not matter if a pilot flies in all events or just one, the participation stands.
Skill points
For all events, the top 3 earn points for their Wing. 1st place earns the Wing (and pilot) 15 points, 2nd place 10 points and 3rd place 5 points.
Time table
The competition would start september 1st and end september 30th.
Rewards
Besides the IS for the top 3 individual pilots in each event, the winning Wing may think up a Nick and Motto of the other Wing and it must stay there for 1 month. :P

This competition template used was thought up and worked out by SBL Goatham, PCON of Clan Naga Sadow
As you can see it is based on a Sith tournament, but as the Sith and the members of the TC share many similarities, it can work for the TC as much as the TC. More will follow as and when the start date will be finalised. Keep your eyes peeled folks ;)
4. WingXIII WC Position - LC Janson will be stepping down from the position of Wing Commander due to real life activities and time restraint. I am awaiting his choice of squadron to join, but in the meantime i am looking for a replacement to join me at the COM's table to run the wing of the ISDII Grey Wolf. Here are some details of what then position requires -
i. The applicant must have held the rank of CMDR (Squadron CMDR) for atleast 6 months, or a proven position within the TC for a relevant amount of time.
ii. Applicant must have passed SM/2/SM/3.
iii. Must be reliable and be able to work under pressure and to a strict deadline.
iv. Good working knowledge of the TC database and sister organisations (for any pilot ref or questions).
v. Must be prepared to put the pilots before himself (this is standard for any Flag position), and also be prepared to handle alot mails and admin work for the wing members.
No word of a lie here people, the job of WC is very hard! But as an ex WC, and one who held the position for a very longtime, i am very experienced in command positions and i can always give some helpful tips and advice! It is a very demanding job role to take on. Requires alot of dedication and planning ahead! Remember, the WC is the head of the wing, all info to the COM flows through him, and total control of the wing belongs to the WC (unless the COM feels that he/she needs to be over ridden on certain points).

5. New SCO!! - Though the ASF has lost one of the finest pilots i have ever had the privilage of flying with and against, CM Ender has now been promoted to Rear Admiral, and is now the new Science Officer! I know he'll do well in this position as it is his calling! Expert mission maker & modder for XVT/XWA & TIE.
Congrats Ender me old matey ;))~

Azazels Final Thoughts!!
Well i am glad that i got the missing MSE medals from June sorted and up to date. I have a couple yet to award, but don't blame me, blame Howlader!! He denied some of them, so i wll have to reveiw my rec and go for another medal >:P They'll be coming soon, so don't worry, i have not forgotten you!
On the whole gents, WingXIII is holding steady, but i want to see the roster filled ready for October and ready for another year ahead. As a COM my job is to look ahead, and my worries are the ship numbers. I want to be the first COM ever to have a FULL roster!! We can do this folks, all you guys need is the drive to see this happen! But i don't want to see inactive people sitting on my ships roster >: I want active team players as i have some comps i want to run against other ships ahead of the next ASF:SC. I want this ship 120% ready for anything that maybe thrust against us...........i want to get the glory that once made this ship the place to be when i was a LT!!! I wanna bury every single ship that goes against us in ANY comp! And i want every damned squadron on this ship to be able to take on a wing and hammer them in any comp! All it needs is the drive to see it happen, the will to win, and the ambition to make names for yourselves like those who have gone before you and into EH Legend!
Pucker up......and put your helmets on......fire up those converters and stand by your fighters!! Its time for all out WAR!
