ISD Challenge COM Report #7 (10/26/03)
Before I start this, I'm sure all of you are aware this is the
first report you've seen from me in a while. I make no excuses about it, and
would rather look past it. Master has done a teriffic job as WC, and has been
pretty much running it by himself. It's time I do my part.

The current Ship Standing Orders (SSO's) are from when Mairin
was COM, and I was WC. Frey & I tried to get new ones through, but it
fell through the cracks. Master, and I edited the SSO's and made slight
modifactions here and there. They were agreed upon by the CMDR's, and now
await final approval by the BGCOM, and FO. When that happens, they will
be mailed out to everyone, and placed on the Challenge domain.

Our very own Loor, former CMDR of Inferno, has gone and
gotten himself a SGCOM job. Congrats Loor, I'm sure you'll do a fine job.

CM Quincy had to resign from Inferno CMDR due to personal
reasons. Applications are still being accepted. The requirements can be
found here.

FL3 in Tempest is also open to apps. Apply to CPT McCollum
if interested.
- And just arriving from the shuttle(and I mean that litterally. :P I just
got the e-mail). Please welcome MAJ Jeffery Domm to Thunder Squadron.

Tempest Squadron has wrapped up there comp with Razor squadron
of the IW. If I know Chris and Tempest squadron, they showed no mercy.
- CPT Rover was the latest winner in the "Whip Master into shape"
competition. Details pertaining to taht comp can be found on Master's latest
WC report. - The trivia contest is also continuing. Full details on the latest WC report.
- CPT Stuart brought up a good idea during the creation of the SSO's. I would
like to see everyone on IRC more, or on one of the 4 popular IM programs.
AIM is the most popular, and probably the easist to use. But there is a program
out there called Trillian that has all 4 (AIM, MSN, Y!, ICQ) in one. It's
what I use, and I like it. Only downside is that it can sometimes have problems
with file transfers.
- Yep, because Master spent so many lonly nights there, I decided to give
him ownership of the Cantina. :P - This is the place where you sit back, take a load off, or just colapse from
being drunk. - So either come on IRC and #Wing_X or use the message boards. Wing X board
is located here.
BTW, for those that don't know, my nick on IRC is usually 'Stan-Away'. But
I'm not always away, just to lazy to change it. :P Just /msg me, if Im there
I'll answer.
- Slip me $100 bills in brown envelopes
- Be active in some way (fly, fiction, graphics)
- Get educated with IWATS
- Stay in touch with your CMDR
- Tape "Kick me!" signs on Master's back. :P
