EHCOC
Website
11:21 - VA
Kyle Katarn [Kyle.Katarn@isdcolossus.com]
inally I
managed to get time to create a professional EHCOC Website. It
can be found here. The Combat Manual is
still the old version. There will be a new one with updated stuff
soon. The Manual can be found here. Feel free to eMail me your comments. But be
aware, not everything is working yet and the site is not fully
finished. You also need at least Internet Explorer 6.0 or
Netscape Navigator 7.0 to view the XML Scripts of the site.
Please do not include this problem in a bug report!

The position
of Relentless Commodore in the TIE Corps Battlegroups is
still open to applications with the following requirements:
- Absolute familiarity with Fleet Manuals and the Fleet Standing Orders
- No serious AoW convictions, and none within the past 12 months
- Command experience at a Wing Commander level or above, for no less than 4 consecutive months. Squadron Commanders will only be considered with 3 excellent references from superior Officers
- Familiarity with Single and Multiplayer aspects of X-Wing: Alliance
- Email response time of 24-36 hours.
- Everything else detailed in the Training Manual
Applicants must possess the drive and motivation to work towards stabilizing the ship, plan future activities and work with fellow Flag Officers in the Battlegroup. The position of Commodore is not to be underestimated. If you have any doubts as to your suitability for the position, then don't waste our time by applying. Applications should be sent to Vice Admiral Krax and Fleet Admiral Priyum with the subject RelCOM. You may include up to 3 references, two of which must be from current or former superiors. Ensure that you have their permission before listing them.

Reporting
of Violations
18:44 - FA
Brad [bafordham@earthlink.net]
Remember to
use the chain of command first when reporting complaints. Almost
2/3 of the time complaints are better handled by your superior
officers. They can get them resolved faster since I have a large
number of complaints and each of mine needs thorough
investigations as I send people to the High Court of Inquisitors
if I find them suspect. Also, do not send an entire log file of
the channel. Including some of the log before incidents happened
helps, but I do not need to see logs of several months before (or
after) a violation.
Skipping
missions!
07:35 - AD
Marcin Szydlowski [pbmike@go2.pl]
Recently, I've
noticed that many pilots are skipping missions and submit battles
to their CMDR. Also, CMDR process BSFs even when plt file shows
missions has been skipped. Hear now, loud and clear: This is
not allowed.
Skipping missions is not considered cheating however, battles
will be removed from your profile.
All battles are playable. If you have problem with patches,
contact SCO Ender mBind.
Wing News
-First, I apologize for the lack of a report last week. Several things caught up with me and I didn't have the time. So, this week's report includes all the stats from last week as well so we can get caught up.
-Auto was awarded a SS for his work with the COO. Congratulations!
-A new comp has been set up with Wing XVIII. You have until 02/04/03 to fly XWA-Free 32 and have your .plt files zipped and sent in to LC Auto.
-Activity seems to be slow, but I know there are several projects being worked on. I would like to see more battles/missions being flown though. Let's see if we can't increase our flying a little for the last couple of weeks in January.
-The TAC has sent down an email. Basically, it is reminding us that we are no longer allowed to skip missions. If you have a problem with a mission and can't seem to pass it, ask myself or Auto and we'll either help you with it, or find someone who can.

Ship News
-A crate was brought onboard a few days ago. It had holes cut into the side and various, screaming sounds were coming from it. RogueWing and Arso quickly showed up and took it into possession. It is unknown as to what was in it or where it is now.
-Mosh's gundark is on the prowl again. After eating his submission for the Vampire intra-squadron comp, it proceeded toward Ghost's quarters and ate Mark's breakfast. All members are advised to stay away from any wandering gundark's they may encounter.
-It has been brought to my attention that paper product usage is at an all-time high. Therefore, the following rules are to be implemented immediately.
- You will be assigned 1 paper plate a week. If you throw it away, you must eat from your hands.
- Only 2 paper towels will be assigned to each personel for the week. If you are caught stealing any extra, you will have to wash the bridge's windows from the outside.
- All toilet paper is hereby withdrawn from the bathrooms.
- Each squadron will be assigned a TPO (Toilet Paper Officer). When going to the bathroom, he will assign you a maximum of 5 sheets to be used. Afterword, these must be cleaned and returned to the TPO in reasonably clean condition.
If these our paper product usage is not lowered, then those numbers will be lowered to make up the difference.
