I have decided to appoint former ASF BGCOM, Admiral Cyric, as my Command Attaché. He will be helping me with various administrative duties, but these will NOT include the general upkeep of the TIE Corps rosters. Therefore it is not necessary to CC him on routine Flight Office emails.

Vice Admiral Brakka has retired as COM of the ISD Intrepid. Taking his place is Rear Admiral Wil Striker, the Ship's former Wing Commander. And replacing Striker as WC is Colonel Duncan Idaho. Congratulations to both of these Officers.

Also announcing his resignation as Commodore of the ISD Vanguard is Rear Admiral Ekim. Applications for a new COM are being accepted and should be sent to VA Darksaber and LC Tarkin.

Wing News

-Major Auto has started a new egroup for the Immortal. It's email address is holonet@wingXI.net. This will replace the old Yahoo egroup, but it will still be kept as a backup. If you would like to have an email address with the @wingXI.net on it, contact him at WC@wingXI.net and he'll set it up for you.

-After only a few days, the CMDR position for Vampire Squadron is open. If you feel that you are able to devote the time to it, send your application to WC@wingXI.net and COM@wingXI.net. We should have a decision made before the end of the week.

-MAJ Auto is running a graphics competition. We are looking for new Banners for the Wing and the Ship. Send all submissions to him at WC@wingXI.net and 'CC your CMDR.

-We will begin having Wing Meetings on IRC everyweek. Starting this week it will be on Saturday at 1:00 P.M EST in #isd_immortal.

-We need more recruits. To this effect, I am offering a bounty of an ISM on any NEW recruit you get onto the Immortal. They will have to transfer from the Reserves, or from the Daedalus Platform. (DO NOT SPAM DAEDALUS!) I would suggest hanging out in the Zone in the XWA and XvT rooms....

Ship News

-The Medlab on Deck 13 reported having a small leak of some unknown material 2 nights ago. They released a report stating that nothing toxic or otherwise dangerous was released.

-On a side note, any personel stationed on Deck 13 who may have noticed small purple spots on their skin or blurry vision are encouraged to report to the Medlab for a "routine" checkup.

-The quartermaster reported that 7 women's dresses of different sizes had been stolen out of the Undercover Storeroom. A subsequent search of the pilot's quarters found that various members of the Wing were playing sabaac wearing the above mentioned dresses. Their names have been withheld pending further investigation....

Competitions

-ECR phase 2 is nearly over. For those who are new, the ECR comp is a yearly competition to determine the flagship of the Battle Groups. Currently, the Immortal holds that title. After the first round, the Immortal is in lead, however, we need to hold onto that lead. To that end, everyone is ordered to write a 500 word fiction about your squadron, your ship, or the Battle Groups. Send it to COM@wingXI.net and dont forget to 'CC your squadron CMDR's with those. We need at least 12 more in the next few days.

-I am still tallying the score from last months MP competition. It will be released soon. Also, the competition will continue into this month as well, but everyone starts over fresh. The pilot that wins the most MP wins will recieve a medal. If you fly someone on IRC but it's not an "official" match on #ehcoc, email your CMDR and me so it can be counted.
