of me use the usual measures :)
- Pwnage in ECR VI!
Results:
ISD Challenge: 41 (10 on the
battle)
ISD Relentless: 28 (6 on the
battle)
ISD Colossus: 19 (2 on the
battle)
Since BubbaX is still on the Challenge I want
everyone to make him nice and comfortable.
Henceforth, all physical activity has been moved from the gymnasium to
the empty Cyclone quarters above his quarters.
The new gym is also now open all night long, and will be turned into
club with heavy base during the evening.
Enjoy!
- Minos is unsteady, so the battlegroups
and ship webpages are essentially crippled for
now. Postage of reports is now only
NECESSARY on the TC Database until further notice.
- All Squadrons are to choose an official color. Thunder, Inferno, and Typhoon have all
submitted, Tempest… this means you!
- Holiday ‘presents’ have rained down from above like mana,
yey goodies!
- Important BIRTHDAY competitions listed below
Services:
As your Commodore I can provide many services including, but
not limited to the following simple
bulleted list:
-
Custom Uniform Design!! (
- An ear for problems you are having in your Real Life
- Raining of rewards upon deserving people
- Answers to questions about the ship or command staff on the ship
- An ear for problems you may be having with your commander or ship mates
- BSFing
(in certain cases)
Note on Freeworlds and other MMORPGs:
-MMORPGs such as Freeworlds and Star Wars Galaxies do count as weekly activity, however they do NOT excuse you from competitions. If there is a competition running you are expected to put that competition as a higher priority than the MMORPG. Your superior generally has no way of knowing if and how often you play MMORPGs so it is recommended you keep them informed as to your level of activity in that regard.
Recommended Routine:
I would like every member of the ship to attempt to adopt a routine similar
to this following example at least once a day, it will benefit everyone.
1. Log in to your Squadron’s selected Instant Messaging Program!!
2. Check your email
3. Check the TIECorps site for news http://www.ehtiecorps.org/news.asp

Bleh, all these pilots complaining about this
tour. One would think they might consider the pain and hardship I went
through, giving up flying an Imperial Star Destroyer, for a freakin\'
TIE Defender.
I think the crew of the Relentless is still a little sore from my ships
complete and utter domination of them in ECR VI. They sent me off without
ANY warheads!
From talking to their dull briefing officer I learned a few things about the Relentless crew. They have trouble with new technology, I mean, come on, it\'s very simple stuff.
My ship picked up on that EHBL stuff almost immediately and without
complaint. Bunch of whining.. mrrgg!
I have also discerned that their intelligence or communication quality is
low. There seems to be some gender confusion about the rDBer we had problems with. I was pretty sure SHE had
breasts, but mr. dry-briefing officer insisted on
calling her a HE. But hey, maybe \'she\' is just an
\'it\', that sounds about right for a rDBer.
So I complain about my lack of warheads after the first mission... and what do
they give me? A half load... geeze... it\'s a good
thing I\'m not too rusty behind the joystick. I\'m not even going to get
started on their pilots. Well, I guess I will, I gotta
vent somewhere. I had to do all the work... the Relentless
bombers didn\'t even know how to attack capital
ships, they insisted on going after my targets instead of their own! By
the end of it they were too crippled to help me out with the cap ships, and the
incompetant Rel techs seemed
to have forgotten their warheads as well. Pitiful...
I would never have these types of problems with my wonderful Challenge pilots.
Mrrgg! Those assault transport pilots, they might as
well have been chickens with their heads cut off for all they did. I
could just barely keep them alive, (with little to NO help from the Rel pilots). What am I, their babysitter?!?
I don\'t think I\'m going to accept any other invitations to help the
Relentless in their tours, no matter how boring escorting Bubba around
gets. I\'d rather scrub spam then fly their ugly, half-loaded,
dilapidated gun and missile boats. Thank God I used my Titan for some of
it, but after all that use, she needs a coat of paint. Hmmm, perhaps some
orange highlights this time... .......
Competitions:
Wing X
Birthday:
Drunken Revelry.
Between becoming the new TCBG
Flagship and celebrating yet another birthday, the parties have become out of
control. Create a graphic displaying the 'pleasantries;' write a fiction
(under 1,000 words) describing any aspect of the 'party.' Topic(s) are fairly
open as long as they have something to do with a drunken party in the cantina,
or some other form of party. The top graphic and top fiction will receive an
IS-SR. Runner up in each category will receive an IS-BR. Competition
will run all month. Submissions are due to Coranel
and Stuart March 2nd.
Binge/Tour!
This comp is a TIE Golf comp! Hooray TIE Golf! :P
The mission assigned for this comp is TIE-FREE #180. You are to fly the
FREE. However, in this comp, the lowest score wins the
IS-SW, with second lowest getting the IS-BW. Rules are that you must complete
all of the Primary objectives; no using the cheats; no killing friendly craft;
and no laser burn (shooting off lasers into space for 10 minutes to lower
your score :P).
Enjoy! Submissions for TIE Golf are due in by the 22nd of February:
Roster Changes:
Dulcatos -> 2-3
Great Griffin -> 2-1
Calvin Senzin -> 3-3
Dujhod -> 3-1
COL Domi RSVs -> Typhoon
