(b000 at the weather, makes me sick & my head feels like it eights 10 kilos)

apart from my head hurting nearly all week, we finally saw a bunch of MSE awards again, Dweezil & Daar wee promoted to CPT respectively LCM. Bruk received a ISM & Blitz got himself a PC for his outrageous flying ammount.
10th of january = EHs birthday..that means: CoL time. The lucky ones from Wing II this time were:

CM Tim, LT Moagim Daar, LCM Brukhar, LC Tempest, COL Jon Doyle & myself. 

Congratulations to all those who got a shiney or were promoted, after all a good week.

Oh..and not to forget the ammounts of BSFs that spammed my inbox again this week..keep it up guys, great activity from the usuall spots like every week ;)

New XWA Battle Released!

The XWA battle for the Casino Imperiale comp has been released! It is designated XWA TC 39! Proceed to fly it if you haven't already and send your pilot files to your superiors to get BSFed.

I'd like to clarify that for these Casino comp battles you won't get your FCHG points or BSF notice until the competition ends, so on February 1st, expect them on your combat records.

Multiplayer Competitions in #ehcoc

In conjuction with the ASF Supremacy Competition, the Combat Operations Office will be hosting several multiplayer competitions in #ehcoc. These competitions will be official events with LoC and DFCs awarded at the end of each nights competition. The first competition will be tomorrow night, featuring XWA Skirmishes. We look forward to a large turn out.

Skipping Missions

Within the last few months quite a few pilots have been skipping missions when flying battles from our mission compendium. Usually when a pilot submits a battle with a skipped mission his Commander is to get a notice from the database while attempting to submit the pilot file, the database tells the Commander or Flag that the file is corrupted and/or missions have been skipped.

The message looks a little something like this:

"This is not the correct pilot file for this battle. The wrong number of missions has been played. The pilot file is invalid."

Whenever you get that notice when you submit a battle do not check the no high scores box and submit it anyway Doing so will result in having me receive the e-mail notice and eventually removing the battle from the pilot's record.

If it happens once I understand, but if it is repeated frequently by CMDRs and Flags then I will be forced to take disciplinary action.

Aggressor Skirmish Challenge

Brought to you by the VSD Aggressor, this will be a TC only XWA Skirmish Multiplayer Competition. Unlike normal XWA 1v1 or 2v2 MP, skirmishes involve greater numbers of pilots as well as capital ships and other AI controlled assets and therefore skirmishes become a totally different multiplayer experience.

DATE & TIME
The competition will start on the 15th of January at 7PM EST and end on the 16th at 1AM EST. We will be using the COO approved files at http://sarin.minos.net/files/skirmishes.zip

TEAMSPEAK
It is strongly encouraged that all participants download and use Teamspeak during the competition, http://www.goteamspeak.com/news.php Even if you do not have a Mic it's still great to listen to your team-mates. A server will be provided for your use during this competition, it can be found at (66.246.122.69:8270).

TCC:XvT Open for Apps

The position of Tactical Coordinator for X-wing Vs. TIE Fighter is now open for applications. Requirements are:

-Extensive experience with XvT/BoP mission creation
-Passed both XTM 1 and 2 and TACS Courses
-Must have previously held a TAC position of at least TCS

The position of TCC:XvT is very important, it was filled by me up until I pick a replacement. Applications are to be sent to VA Styles and RA Frodo March.

ASF Squadron Supremacy Comp

2) Go to 24/7 USA server
3) Create [CIV]Nickname character
4) At starting station buy T/F, sell shields
5) exit and fight
6) after fight log out and DELETE CHARACTER [! IMPORTANT! Otherwise EH gets FW sanctions!]
7) report match via 24/7 LoCs and send screenie or just report ccing other party.)
MP Matches can be flown 24/7 during the competition. They can be agreed on #tiecorps, #atf, #ehmatch, ICQ/MSN/AIM or whereever a Sov and an ATF pilot meet For MP Divsion the folowing pts. will be awarded for matches:
Win [W] = 30 points
Loss [L] = 10 points
Tie [T] = 20 points

MP Points and current standings will be shown on the website, too. At the end of the competition there will be ONE IS-GW, ONE IS-SW and ONE IS-BW for MP divison (all MP events) so for counting overall pts. the respective MP platform where the match was flown is not relevant.
