Greetings again, Wing XIII.

A slightly dull week, all up. I attribute this mainly to the personal leaves of both the Battlegroup Commodore Khadgar and Commodore Gilad Pelleaeon. A reminder again, Vice Admiral Pelleaeon is away for the weekend and will resume command of the ship on Monday.

==News from the Fleet==

Former Flight Officer Priyum Patel and Marcus Caine, formerly of Crusader Squadron have taken over command of the Imperial Star Destroyer Predator. This gives the Aggressor Strike Force an operational strength of four Star Destroyers and their task forces - the most of any Battlegroup in the fleet. However, we still have numerous pilot spots to fill. If you hear of any promising new recruit or an old reservist who wants to return to active duty, be sure to point them towards our ship.

The Tactical Office advises that simulation battle "TIE TC 218" has been fixed and is now able to be flown.

==Competitions==

General Stele advises that his Summer Patrol competition is now into its third round. Wing XIII still has several pilots left, keep up the good work.

The Sovereign Squadron League appears to be in disarray, with no one really knowing what is going on. Phoenix Squadron was in the semi finals, last I heard. Well done to Lieutenant Colonel Choosh and his squadron.

Vortex Squadron will be competing against the Nightshade Battleteam of the Dark Brotherhood - good luck, pilots.

==Activity==

Simulator reports for this week are nowhere near as active as I would like, but the defensive posting of these past months is partially to blame. However, there was excellent activity from those who are testing the "Freeworlds" simulation for Emperor's Hammer Command. Well done.

==Wing Commander's Office==

There has been a recent trend towards inactivity, and this is even starting to affect the squadron commanders. You will have noticed that a few of them have yet to even release their weekly report to the wing. I will be speaking to each of them over the next few days.

LT Tiamat was recently promoted to Commander and given temporary command of Tartarus Squadron while Colonel Chrissy investigates various vacation spots on Aurora. While recently involved in an incident for which he has been punished by the High Court of Inquisitors, both the Commodore and myself were adament that he was the best man for the job. Tartarus is in good hands and I can turn my attentions elsewhere.

Finally, to give you restless pilots something to look forward too, I will be asking Admiral Khadgar for a posting that allows us to see some combat once again. I'm aiming to be off by the start of next month, with logistics to be worked out beforehand.
