I'm back. Mal got Int WC. Someone will get Van WC. I'm back.

Freeworlds server event : Defend the newly captured bases. This was a loss for the Empire, mostly due to a lack of experienced defending leaders. The Imperial leader was away.

Um, I hope someone can think of something to do. Not much point in things no one will participate in so....what comps do you want?

Freeworlds rules!! I'm flying around in an Escort Shuttle with beefy guns and big missiles. Heaps of fun.

Setting up formations and the like for the server event was cool, but I don't think either of the leaders had the right idea for the actual base defense (we were ready for them and had scouts as well though),and the main Imperial dude was out....yeh... anyway, we lost. I actually woke up before 9am to be there as well. Pity.

Big news: We have two CMDR spots open, Valkyrie and Tartarus. Valkryie is a standard position, but Tartarus is a new innovation from your flag staff. We are calling it a "Temporary" Commander position. Chrissy is on leave until September, and so we want to put in a CMDR for that time. If you do a good job then you may even get to stay on for longer (depending on Chrissy wanting it back/how much money you pay us).

The requirements for the positions.

Note: If you don't specify otherwise, I am assuming that you are applying for both positions, and "2nd Place" will take Tartarus Temporary position. However, feel free to specify that you only want one of the positions.

• Must have passed Sm/3 (or 2, if you date back that far )
• Mail Reply / BSF processing of 24 hours
• Must have a decent IRC Prescence
• Must be able to recruit

Preferable:
Active pilot with a decent FCHG and CR standing
Ability to provide a squadron website.

Applicants should include:
a list of their achievements,
previous positions, and
goals for the squadron,

and respond to each above point seperately.

Again, tolerance of the GWSOoM is a must.
