Wing Commander Rant
Welcome,
Welcome to the 100th
Wing XX WC report! A little over 2 years and 10 months ago, Smitrock and Grail
Soulchaser opened up Wing XX, the most recent wing to be opened in the TIE
Corps, and created the Avenger Task Force.
VA TK-2107 should be
back from leave today. All your fears can now be relieved. I only burnt a small
hole in the aft side of the ship and lost 2 CMDRs.
MAJ Archangel has
resigned as Kraken CMDR, but will still be around as a FM.
CM (MAJ) Trido has
been made the new Wing Commander of Wing IX. Congrats and good luck.
Applications for open
Wing XX CMDR have started to trickle in now and I’m working on create the best
solution for all parties. If anyone who has extensive experience with the EH is
interested in either Talon or Raptor CMDR, e-mail me now because I have just
about made up my mind already so time is short.
BGCOM’s Judgment
results will be out soon.
March’s Squadron of
the Month is none other then Raptor. CMDR Trido is the Pilot of the Month. It
is a same to lose him. Nemesis moved up a lot recently and finished in a close
second. Congrats to all.

Battle Group Commander’s Judgment
is a massive monthly ATF wide competition. The wing with the best results in
the 8 categories wins Wing of the Month. Get out there and fly for the wing. We
have one day left, so fly for the glory of Wing XX. I want to keep our winning
streak going.

COO Skirmish War
Send in XWA F 98 to the BGCOM for
a IS-SW and your chance to represent the ATF in a TIE Corp wide competition.
Davi is still looking for one more pilot.
100 Going on 200
In honor of Wing XX’s 100 report,
write a small short story about what things are like in Wing XX 100 reports
from now (about 2 years). Submissions to me by the end of the month, IS-SR and
IS-BR are awarded.
The Perfect Landing
Get a screenshot that shows your
fighter/ship from an angle in which it appears to have landed on another
object. Be creative with your location/ship/camera angle. I will judge based on
quality and interest factor. No docking or landing procedures in (ie XWA
tricks) are allowed. Bring the ship down on your own power and skill.
April Foolery
I wish I could say I originated
this competition, but the point is simple. Prank another Subjugator banner (the
ship, wing, or another squadron but your own) by adding in text or changing
around the graphics or by meshing the picture with something else. I will grade
on quality and comedy. Please, nothing extremely obscene.
Design a Ravager Squadron patch
for their uniforms. This competition is open to the whole wing and Kalith
Jaenus and myself are the judges.
ISD Subjugator Massive Flying Activity
Competition – you get medals for flying, what more could you ask for
Kraken: RS Engagement
This is a great little competition
with Kraken and Praetorian squadrons flying against two squadrons from the
Rebel Squadrons club. I’ve seen a few other people try this over the years
(such as Frey) and it is always a great idea. Go crush those Rebel scum
buckets.

for April and one ATF wide competition against a mystery opponent.

Final Thoughts:
What an interesting week. I wish a
happy spring break to all school going kids. I think that it might be less
chaotic then all the paperwork on my desk this week. One thing stays the same
though, they are both great places to unwind and meet new people. Yeah… that’s
my defense and I’m sticking to it. Happy 100th report Wing XX, I
hope you are better off now then when I took you under my wing.
