First of all, let me say that I'm very very sorry about me not being around this past few weeks. I've been having major problems with my computer this past fortnight, however these should be sorted by tomorrow night! So please bare with me a few days longer! It seems that things have kept going along quite nicely whilst I've been away, we've even managed to lose our little green COM! Well, I hope this report makes up for the last one I missed, so read on and enjoy!
Fleet News;
- There is a new competition for the creation of a TCCOM's Own Escort Squadron banner. Comp ends at the end of the month so if you want to make a banner do it now! Dont forget to fwd a copy to me so I can submit it for my Wing GFX competition.
- VA Locke Setzer has won Match #3 of the TAC's Iron Mission Creation competition. Again, COL Brucmack scored highest in the HS competition. Yay Bruc!
- Congrats to new Wing XIV WC, LC Apophis Kuma!
- After numerous problems in the last few weeks, the COO Ladder's are finally back up. They can be found at http://coo.emperorshammer.net/ladder/ and the new EHLS Login system needed to use them is at http://coo.emperorshammer.net/ehls/ - Sign up and log in now!
- The TAC has placed a poll on the EH messageboards regarding TAC competitions. Please complete it so our midget TAC doesn't cry about his 'precious' again. It can be done here: http://mb.emperorshammer.net/viewtopic.php?t=639.
- The XvT WoW for April has been and gone. Results will hopefully follow in the news this week sometime.
- Congrats to Praetorian Squadron for being named the first TCCOM's Own Escort Squadron!
- Last Friday the TAC released TIE Free's 252 and 253, along with TIE-TC 223 and XvT-TC 112 - fly them if you dare.
- After a short period of downtime, the Freeworlds server is back up. The new server IP is 209.200.19.44. All you FW junkies should be set again now! I hope the withdrawal wasn't to bad. ;)
- Congratulations to CM Fahrer who won Match 4 of the IMC competition, beating out LC Mouse Droid and LC Ric Taldrya. Everyone also has until next Sunday to fly TIE-Free 254, the highest scorer will earn an Iron Star!
- Congrats again to new appointees within the Fleet. Congrats to BGCOM Gilad on his promotion to the position of Logistics Officer and also to Yoda on his promotion to Operations Officer! Looks like we'll see quite a few command changes in the coming weeks/months with these appointments.
- Due to the above appointments, the positions of ASF BGCOM and ISD Grey Wolf COM are open for applications. If your interested in either, put your hand up and apply to FA Cyric! Keep your hands of Yoda's Office though....thats mine regardless!
Wing News;
- Recruit, recruit, recruit!
- Well I've been a little out of touch the last few weeks and I've also managed to lose a few of the WSR's sent to me in the past weeks, so I'm flying a little blind here. So if I miss anything important please remind me ;)
- Yoda has left us! The little midget bastage! At least he left/forgot his cantina card so we can have a little going away party without him! Congrats Yoda and may your time as Medal (w)hoar(der) be a good time!
- One thing I cannot forget seeing I requested it, is the promotion of Ambar to Lieutenant Colonel! Congrats Ambar! Drinks are on you....yes still :P
- I also forgot last report to announce that CPT TK-6686, or Trent as we all know and love him, is the new Tartarus Squadron Commander! Congrats and I look forward to seeing what you can do with the squad Trent!
- Whilst on the subject of CMDR's, I'd also like to say a congrats to CM Mitim Tsaexin, who after a long and painful operation earlier in the month has become CM Alexander Shrike. The MO Corps did an amazing job on his 'change' is all I can say! :P
- Whilst on the subject of congratulations, I'd also like to welcome SL Thomace to our ranks and congratulate him on joining the best ship in the fleet! ;)
- Now onto a bit of more serious news. For the past few weeks I've been a little disappointed in the consistency (or lack thereof) of Squadron WSR's being sent out. If you are having problems that are preventing you from sending out a report, short of unforseen emergencies, please let me know so I at least know there is a good reason for the lack of a report. I know that I've been no angel the last few weeks, but I did let Yoda and Gilad know what was happening so they didn't think I was just shirking my responsibilities without a good reason.
- After the recent retirement of Madon from Odin CMDR, the position of CMDR is now open. I do have someone in mind, but if anyone else is interested, please let me know. As they say, you have to be in it to win it!
