Wing X WC Report #22 - April 23, '05

* Valkyrie22 glad to be in her little coccoon of not knowing stupid EH people
(ChrisBRB): yeah, K. Don't leave this channel. Ever. :P
(VA_Locke): Yeah, never get to know anyone outside of the Chal, you'll be happier that way ;P

-===Intro===-

To start off...wise words from Chal vets. Heed them well!

Next up, as you saw from my email to the Wing sent out shortly before I started this report, I'll be gone for the week. Azurin is acting WC. Do what she says. Or she'll berate you. It's true, yo! :P

With that note...we move onto somewhat important to those who care type of news!

-===Wing News===-

* Medals! Grats to COL George on his LoC!

* So yeah. We crushed the Rel in both flying and the run-on, sweeping the competition. Nicely done, y'all!

* SL Dalk Darklighter transferred from the Daed to Thunder Squadron! I'm not sure how exactly it happened...but yeah. Yeah...

* Wing-wide FCHG Race is on for the rest of the month. Details below.

* Bubba sent a bunch of...well...fairly useless emails through the Flaggies mailing list. I think he was bored, and was prodded by someone to do some actual work. Sorry Bubba...this didn't count :P

* If you've been doing activity like SWG or Freeworlds, make sure you let your CMDR's know! It counts as activity!

-===Competitions===-

1. Recruit or Die Comp. The pilots of the TCBG's will recruit as many members as possible from the reserves, real life, other online communities, or through helping cadets on the Daedalus. At the end of the month, the three highest-recruiting pilots will receive awards (IS-GR to most recruited, IS-SR to second, IS-BR to third).

2. TIE Corps Battlegroup Training Night. The TCBG sponsored MP night. Show up in IRC channel #EHCOC on Saturdays at 6pm GMT (1pm EST) to win LoC's and DFC's!

3. Wing X "I have too much free time" Comp! A three-week long FCHG race, to conclude the month of April. Whomever flies the most during the period will win a IS-SW, with the runner-up taking an IS-BW.

An additional note. If you get a HS on a mission, you get an extra point for that mission. So if you fly a five-mission battle, and get three high scores, it is worth eight points.

The current standings are as follows:

1) CM TK-9780: 150
2) LT Katherine Cantor Flyer: 142
3) COL George: 52
4) LCM Impulse: 49
5) LT Oni: 30
6) COL Darklord: 25
7) LT Sempren Kale: 18
8) LT Marlin: 11
9) CPT Dan Bonini: 9
10) CM Alexi Stukov: 8
11) LT Glenn: 6
12) CPT Dirty Vader: 5
12) CM Dujhod: 5
14) LT Haedaliel Belil-Gaviel: 1
14) CM Great Griffin: 1
