Wing XIII Wing Report #14

Welcome one and all to my WC report! Lots happening this week, from more new members, some old ones leaving, plenty of medals and a few missions flown too! MSE's are almost all in, and I must say that I'm a little disappointed these were not done earlier, but I'm not too worried....any medals will be coming soon. This is my biggest gripe with the wing at the moment....the inconsistency in which squadron reports are made. Now I know RL comes first, and that this is all for 'fun', but I do ask that you make a bit more of an effort to get all your squadron reports in on time. Ok, thats enough grumpiness for today!
Fleet News;
- Last weekend, after closing the Mission Creation Incentive competition, TAC Frodo announced the Iron Mission Creation Incentive Challenge *draws breath*. AD Den Darkhill's XvT Free 181, winner of 'match 1' of the comp was chosen as the basis of a HS competition. The two highest scorers will receive an IS-SW and BW respectively when it finishes tonight.
- The Combat Operations Office has moved. It can now be found at http://coo.emperorshammer.net/. The MP IWATS has also been moved to http://coo.emperorshammer.net/iwats/.
- You can now add to the list of open IWATS positions, that of BitchX Professor. That means we still have PROF positions open for BitchX, ASP, Javascript and XML. If your interested apply to TO Stuart ASAP!
- Due to the retirement of COL Malidir, the position of Wing XIV WC is now open. If your interested you can apply to Gidda...but if you do you'll be treated to a personal plague of GW fleas so bad....that not even a complete forrest burnoff could clear you of the scurge! :P
- The COO has announced that there will be a replacement for the Ladders and ELS soon! Sarin thinks it may be ready for launch in the next week....keep your eyes peeled!
- There is another free mission now available to fly......TIE-Free 251!
- The new TAC Manual is online and open for business. It can be found at http://ehtiecorps.org/tac/tac-man/index.html.
- Another bulk lot of medals were awarded this week by Ast standing in as OPS. The old bum/joker/jester of the ship, CPT Joey was awarded a Gold Star and our favourite BGCOM was awarded an IS-GR. Well done to all!
- Former Mutt CMDR Lenvik was also promoted to full Admiral.....along with TO Stuart and DO Reinthaler. ISD Challenge(d) COM, RA Locke Setzer was also promoted to VA. Congrats!
Wing News;
- Recruit, recruit, recruit!
- The March Wolfpack comps are over and medals were recommended....however they've not been approved yet. Winners the FCHG Race were LT Blackrage (IS-SW) and COL Brucmack (IS-BW), for the CR race it was the other way around and noone won any medals for GFX as I never received any! Hopefully this month with a little more notice gets more people involved.
- Speaking of Blackrage....congrats to him on being promoted to full Lieutenant. Guess who is buying the beers? ;)
- We received an old member this week, with the return of LCM Valin Drago back to active duty. I trust you will all welcome him back with furvor and show him where the cantina is! We've also gained a brand spankin' new member in the form of SL Fratus Sinister...welcome!
- COL Brucmack has been flying his a$$ off the last couple of weeks and this week it definitely showed with him being awarded with 21 LoC's and 5 DFCs. Hot damn I'm glad we've got him on our side!!!
- One last thing - get back to work everyone! :P SC VII is well and truely over and we need to get more active again. If not, I may not start many more competitions until numbers in the current competitions pick up.

Pilot of the Week this week goes to COL Brucmack for not only flying lots of MP, but winning most of his games and coming home with some 20+ LoC's and 5 DFC's so far! Well done Bruc, still able to show the younguns how it's done old skewl ;)
