Busy week this week, and it brought with it two new Wing Competitions and the conclusion of the Odin vs. Tartarus FCHG Race!

Now I suppose I should comment on the recent goings-on in the fleet. In case some of you guys are living in dark caves and don't know what's going on, please go to http://www.emperorshammer.org/news.htm to get updated. In short, the Dark Brotherhood has attempted to separate from the Emperor's Hammer. This has created quite a controversy over on the messageboards and on IRC.

If any member of Wing XIII is unsure about what is going on or what to do, PLEASE contact me or Khadgar ASAP. We do not want to lose any good pilots because a few DB hotheads tried to run off with the subgroup. Whatever your situation, we will be able to work it out so that you can continue to be a valuable part of Wing XIII.

WING NEWS:

-SL Ghorg has been promoted to Lieutenant! Great job!

-Wing XIII welcomes SL Markus Destova to Tartarus squadron!

-Another new pilot has joined the Grey Wolf...welcome to Vortex LCM Oorl Quygg!

-Yes, we have ANOTHER new pilot! Welcome LCM Curly to Phoenix squadron!

-(Last one I promise) Yet another new pilot! Welcome LT Rem Somnos to Crusader squadron!

-The Grey Wolf Resurgence Competition has begun! You all got the email from RA Khadgar, so go fly some MP! I've noticed of late that only a few XIII pilots are participating in MP. With this competition, you get 3 points for a loss and 5 for a win. Participation is what's going to win this competition. Even if you've never flown multiplayer before, go to #ehcoc and start flying, it's way more fun than beating down a computer all the time. If you have any questions about how to connect to somebody or how to get on #ehcoc, please ask your CMDR or me! We are all here to help you have fun.

-The Tartarus vs. Odin FCHG Race ended with Odin Squadron as the winnner! Although Tartarus got more FCHG points, Odin got a bonus that multiplied their FCHG by 1.5, putting them in the lead! Congratulations to all pilots who participated, it was a close comp in the end! IS-BW winners are MAJ Devin Taralis and CM Pickled Yoda. Nice work leading from the front, CMDRs. Submit formal requests to me for those medals, please!


FLEET NEWS:

-The Dark Brotherhood has attempted to separate from the Emperor's Hammer. Check out http://www.emperorshammer.org/news.htm for details.

-An EH Oath of Loyalty is currently online. Feel free to sign it if you want and pledge your support and loyalty to the Emperor's Hammer. You do not HAVE to sign it if you do not want to. A lot of people have expressed reservations about signing a loyalty agreement, and it is 100% totally voluntary. Nothing will happen to you whether you do or do not sign it. http://www.ehnet.org/loyalty/

-Our own BGCOM, Vice Admiral Darksaber has been promoted to full Admiral! Congratulations DS, you really deserved it!

-The Mission Compendium is currently offline. The TAC and SO have cited security concerns, however, they expect the links to download battles will be back up in a couple days. Check back often, and I'll send out a notice when it becomes accessible!

-The TIE Corps Battlegrous BGCOM, Vice Admiral Krax, has also been promoted to full Admiral. Go BGCOMs!

-Much of the command staff of the Avenger Task Force has been removed from command. All replacement flag officers have been chosen:

Description: Starts the day of XvT WoW, concludes the at the ending of XWA WoW. This competition strictly involves Multiplayer. Points will be given at a rate of five points for each Multiplayer victory, and three points for each Multiplayer loss. The top scorers will be awarded Iron Stars.

WING COMMANDER'S NOTES: Lots of recruiting going on this week, our numbers really jumped up! Keep that up, we can never have too many pilots! Flying seemed a little better this week, but its still all the same pilots! When the Mission Compendium comes back online, those of you who aren't doing anything, it seriously takes 10 minutes to download a FREE mission and fly it on easy with full cheats on. And it's fun! Try to do a little bit of flying this week, especially if you haven't in a while.
