Report XIII
Welcome to another awesome report for our glorious Wing :)
What a week :), lets just start with the news…
NEWS
I want to welcome 2 new pilots in our lines, a warm welcome to CPT Amadeo, who rejoined Tempest Squadron and to CPT Mauser, who rejoined Inferno Squadron.
Both are old serving veterans of the Challenge and based on some old traditions are they paying the drinks ;)
Next thing are 4 (four) pilots, that have served the Wing in an outstanding way.
LCM Infamus has been promoted to the rank of CM, for his activity as pilot and his performance as Flight Leader in Inferno Squadron.
My congratulations.
CM Alexi Stukov has been promoted to the rank of CPT, for his activity within Thunder Squadron, his support of his CMDR and his activity as pilot.
My congratulations.
And now to two officers that are not only insane in the meaning of their mind ;), but also in the meaning of activity.
I`m speaking of course about COL Master and COL Locke Setzer, who were both a SS awarded.
Take the time to read the reccomendations for their medals and to see what you have to do for such a nice shinny thing.
My congratulations dudes.
Other good news, CPT Elwood informed me today that, if everything goes right, he will be back in action at the beginning of August.
That are awesome news :)
But no good news without bad news.
Wing X, attention!
A veteran joined Inferno, shortly after I took over the command over it. Since those 8 months now, was he serving Inferno and the Wing in a wonderful way. His XvT scores are feared all over the Tie Corps and it was more then once that he won a competition.
I`m of course speaking about Major Calvin Senzin.
Calv will leave us soon to the Reserves due to rl comittments.
Calvin, you have my greatest respect for your performance as FM over the long period that you served in Inferno now.
I wish you just the best in your future and hope to see you returning to us as soon as possible.
Alright, that’s it from the news, on to the Competitions section.
COMPETITIONS
Before I list the competitions, let me say you that the current participation in the Wing X vs Wing XX competition is rather low.
I can just beg you again and again that you take those few minuites and fly for your Wing, write for it or paint a graphic for it.
We are not participation in this Competition as several Squadrons, but as ONE Wing, as an unit. So please do it for us all !
“Who is the true X” Competition
The Comp is divided into 4 parts.
PART I
SP Flying
Platforms used: TIE,XvT, XWA
Missions used: TIE FREE #219 XvT FREE #97 XWA FREE #102
The submissions goes to BOTH WC’s and as usual to your CMDR’s.
Medals: 1st place in each Wing: IS-SW
2nd place in each Wing: IS-BW
PART II
MP Flying
Platforms used: XvT and XWA
Flying: 1vs1 (ONLY)
The MP flying will be hosted in the channels #ATF and #Wing_X
When you fly someone in #ATF, make sure that he is from Wing XX and not a freak from the Avenger :)
Submit the results of your MP match to me and cc your opponent in the mail please.
PART III
Writing Competition
The fiction deals with a night of drunken misbehaviour on a shore leave when the Wing X and Wing XX pilots just happen to bump into each other.
The submissions goes to the BG COM’s of BOTH BG’s. Means, they go to:

PART IV
Graphic Competition
The graphics prompt follows on logically from this, being a banner for the wing cantinas.

The Competition starts on the 1st July and ends on the 30th. That should be enough time for EVERYONE to participate in it.

Wing Commanders Corner
All in all, an awesome week. Especially Woody’s fast return is making me happy. Ryan is doing fine as A-CMDR and his time as A-CMDR isn`t unnoticed :)
My week was a bit stressy, especially Thursday, but you know, hope is dying as last that things will become better :)
