-Hi everbody! (Hi Dr. Nick)
-How is everyone doing? Well here's my wing report. I know a few of you have probably been waiting for this report all week. Aren't they fun to read? Well for those of you who don't read it all, please do read it. Very helpful and informative, yes.
-Commendation of Loyalty: Ok, I have the Commendation of Loyalty recommendations from all squadrons. 8 recommendations have been made...and now I must choose 3 to forward to Proton. This will be extremely difficult, probably the most difficult of the previous years because this is quite a selection. That entire list of 8, in my humble opinion, should deserve the CoL. But I must choose 3 =/ I will think hard about this one.
-Monthly Squadron Evaluations: Yes, I have everyone's squadron evaluations now and will go through them today. I may contact CMDRs to clear up any misunderstandings so be patient for any medals or promotions that may be coming your way.
-SSL Heh, I bet a lot of you thought this competition would never end. Well it's on to the finals now. Kappa and Psi were not able to make it to the finals but they put up an excellent show for the entire fleet. They are right now flying for third place, so it's still not over for them. In the TIE Division, Kappa was defeated by Praetorian Squadron, but Kappa will now go up against Yod Squadron (which suprisingly, no one flew last week), who was defeated by Omega Squadron.
In the XvT Division Psi lost to ASF Squadron. Psi will now duke it out for third place against Odin Squadron, who lost to Diamondback Squadron.
I think both Kappa and Psi have very good chances to make it for third. So I as well as the rest of the wing, wish you pilots all the luck!
-The General's Sovereign Summer Patrol: It's currently in its seventh week and pilots are still dedicated to flying for this summer patrol. A few pilots are still dropping off the patrol and unable to meet the demands. There is currently a poll at the Sov forum under the 5th week thread. -Psi CMDR will step down: Yes, in case you havn't heard, COL Jon will be stepping down from his duties as CMDR. I'm saddened, as I'm sure a lot of you are, but Jon has set his priorities straight and since he's starting his 4th year at the university. I'm very glad, however, that he'll still stick with the wing and Psi. I'm currently not accepting any applications.

Misc: -I have started up another private wargame for the Memory of Thrawn Strategic War Campaign. This is the third installment of the wargame which started back nearly a year ago. This time the players are MAJ Seth (aka Warlord Cregan), CPT Ninj (aka Grossadmiral Ninj von Manteuffel), and CPT Psyko (aka Psyko?). Wing XIX

LC Thom Zack has retired from his position as Wing XIX WC on the SSD Avenger. Myself and the staff of the ATF would like to thank Zack for all of his hard work and commitment to his command over the past several months.
Applications for a new Wing Commander are being accepted and I have here the requirements:
At least 4 months experience as a Squadron Commander in the TIE Corps
No HCI convictions within the last 12 months
Passed either SM/II or SM/III and be intimately familiar with all EH and TC regulations including the Fleet Standing Orders
Be able to handle large amounts of email and admin within a short amount of time in an efficient manner
Be able to organise competitions / activity within the Wing and motivate those under your command
Must be a member of good standing in the Dark Brotherhood (command position not necessary).
Be able to work in a mature attitude with all levels of command in the TIE Corps
Be familiar with all three primary game platforms (TIE, XvT & XWA), single and multiplayer.
Demonstrate that you have the drive and motivation to take command of a Wing and ensure it's growth and success
You may include up to 2 references from current or former superiors (get their permission first!). Applications should be sent to Vice Admiral Khaen and Rear Admiral Davi Anthol with the subject "Wing XIX WC" by Friday 8th August.

There are no mandatory orders right now! Wow, that's weird, huh? Well, it will give some squads a time to relax for the moment OR to start up matches among other squads. I know that Sin and Rho are both doing that right now.

-Kappa: SL Vega from Daedalus Training Platform joins Kappa! Fighting for third in TIE Division against Yod Squadron in SSL. Will begin an inter-squad match on the 17th.
-Psi: Fighting for third in the SSL XvT Division against Odin Squadron. CPT Psyko gets awarded Psi Squadron Ace Award, but now he's in Sigma =P
-Rho: While Argon has left to command Delta Squadron, Rho is not so keen on letting him go without a final fight. Rho and Delta will compete against eachother.
-Sigma: CPT Psyko assumes command of Sigma Squadron, officially now... which means a squad report should be on my desk next week =P
- Sin: LT Fish is AWOLd. CM Timmay is to rejoin, but why isn't he in the ranks?? What's taking so long?
- Theta: Theta's webpage has been updated. Check it out: http://theta.squadron.org/ The CMDR is an insomniac, but he doesn't know it.
