The next big piece of news this week is the announcement of Epsilon
Squadron's new commander. I had far more qualified applicants than I
expected, and the decision was a very difficult one to make.
Therefore, I am pleased to announce CM Sandor Clegane as the new CMDR
of Epsilon. I am sure he will do an excellent job.

In other news tonight, please join me in wishing CPT Dharus, CMDR of
Alpha Squadron, a warm farewell. His real life has cruelly encroached
upon the time he has available for the Emperor's Hammer and he has
decided that now is the time to step down. I am accepting applications
for his position, and will announce the new Alpha CMDR within the week.

I would like to point out that we lost a whole lot of pilots this
week. That means we're only one ahead of Wing IV, and are now the
second smallest wing on the Sovereign. This is what I like to call a
Bad Thing. Get out there and make some friends, so you can convince
them to join you in the EH! Drag people you know from the reserves!
However, please run any mail you send to the PLT Daedalus past me
BEFORE you send it. The rules are very strict about what is
appropriate and what isn't.

Finally, I would like to apologize about the mailing list and the web
site. Basically, what happened was I got moved into my dorm at college
and discovered that there is no way for me to set up my server here.
I'm sending the machine home on September 29th, and expect it to be up
and running again by October. Until then, there won't be a web site or
a mailing list. Sorry! :-\

The Emperor's Hammer is taking on the New Republic Navy! The
competition is running through Battlestats using WoW rules. From Sept
14 to Sept 21, all internal compeitions are hereby suspended, so that
our multiplayer pilots may concentrate on the comp against the navy.

replace the one previously hosted by GN Wolly. Required elements:
Navigation scheme, HTML design for Sovereign home page and the
following additional pages: News, Ship Data, War Room (competitions),
Cantina (gateway to message board, IRC information, etc.), Wings,
Commodore's Office, Art Gallery, Fiction Compendium.

Winning entry may be used as the new SSSD Sovereign home page.
Optional elements: Main logo, link banner, other graphics. Some
graphics may be used as the new elements of the Sov page and in a new
art gallery.
