Pilots of Wing I:

This is going to be a very lengthy report, so I suggest you grab a
glass of your favorite beverage, sit back and relax. Due to
extenuating circumstances, I have been extremely distracted over the
last weeks and was unable to write last week's report. Now that life
has settled down again, I am back in action. Drinks in the cantina
tonight are on me, in honor of my new girlfriend ;)

Just for the record, any BSFs still pending will be submitted during
the course of this week. I'll let CMDRs know when I think I'm all
caught up so we can deal with any discrepancies.

First off, I am very proud to congratulate LC Iceman on earning the
title of Baron! Our very own Iceman holds the most FCHG points out of
anybody in the TIE Corps! Fantastic work, Iceman!

I am pleased to welcome SL Cassander Dimentex to Delta Squadron. Don't
stand too close to Rick, keep that TIE Defender clean, and you'll go
far.

There's no good segue from the previous announcement to StarLion's.
Due to severe circumstances in real life, COL StarLion has stepped
down as Gamma CMDR and been given his original rank of Fleet Admiral
once again. We all wish you the best of luck and hold you in our
thoughts, sir.

Top priority this week is the Mascot Power Battle competition. A
product of Colonel Ford Prefect's diseased mind, the competition is an
all out melee between the mascots of each of the Sovereign's wings.

Wing I's mascot is Rick, the Pink Elephant. Forged from the psychic
energies of inebriated Wing I pilots, Rick the Pink Elephant is the
physical manifestation of our anger and hatred. Visible only to the
extremely drunk, the nine ton elephant roams the halls of Wing I
silently, muching on an occasional Lieutenant and crushing the
occasional starfighter.

The first round of the mascot competition involves trivia. You should
all have recieved a seperate email with the gory details.

The second competition we have to worry about is Jack's Ultimate
Scramble. This is a simple competition: fly as many battles as you can
between November 1st and December 31st. Please submit pilot files to
your CMDRs for this competition.

Epsilon challenged Beta to a competition awhile back, and that
competition was concluded on October 25th. Here are the results:

Epsilon:

LT Zoron - 93,762

It looks like Beta's average score of 230,332 beats out Epsilon's
average of 140,959! Congratulations, Beta!
