COMPETITIONS
A. The Wing Commander vs the Wing comp is now over!
It took a bit longer to complete than I wished, and the participation “could” have been greater,
but 50% of the wing did challenge me, and I am well satisfied.

The nearly final standings are:.
CPT Vector has challenged me to XWAF -63 and I need his pilot file.
STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The current standings are:

Medals awarded - Nine

B. The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout! The competition will run for eight weeks. Elements
will include four custom TIE free missions, an XWA ladder and fiction and art categories. Also,
the winning squadron and wing in this event will be awarded the titles of COM's Own.
I’ve mailed around the first mission, and two of our pilots are on the XWA ladder.

C. Lambda Squadron has a competition coming up with Nu Squadron, of the ISD Colossus.
Now, it's Tie-TC #200. It's highest average score wins, and will be hurt by the fact that Enerum
and Pheonixus can't fly it, so we'll just have to make up for it by scoring realy high. It's
supposedly very easy, so all you have to do is download and fly.

1. WEEKLY TIDBITS
I’ve heard that it never rains in Southern California....I can certainly believe it!
It’s been over 110 degrees F (ca 25 degrees C) ever since I arrived down here!

But at least I have internet!!!!


I have added Cadet Jim to our mailing list. He has expressly stated his interest in joining our
wing. If any of you know anyone else that is interested in joining the wing (but not already
assigned to another one), let me know, and if they’d like, I’ll add them to our zany repetoire.

A. MSE’s and Reports
The Weekly reports were not received from Beta and Epsilon Squadrons, as their commanders
are on leave.

B. COMMUNICATIONS
1 - Meetings to be held on Fridays in #Wing_I / the Undernet on mIRC.
It’s not a mandatory meeting, but I might actually be able to show up now and then.


C. PERSONNEL MOVES & PROMOTIONS
CM Starr is on his way to the reserves (if Argon finds his request).
LT Travis Cox’s termination request has been submitted.


D. AWARDS
LT Gans was awarded the CoB.
LT Pheonixus was awarded the CoB.
LT Random Kreivan was awarded the CoB.
LT Jason Dehner was awarded the CoB.
LT Mulder was awarded an ISM for completing 57 combat missions in only one month as well
as the CoB..
LC Freelancer was awarded a PC for his outstanding job as acting WC and squadron CMDR.
