WING COMMANDER’S OWN
Lambda Squadron

IMPORTANT!

As you may or may not have noticed, LC Adolf has been replaced as Beta Commander.
He was replaced by CM Ras Kronar, who hopefully will be able to inject a sense of life into
Beta Squadron and the rest of Wing I.
I did not do this out of personal bias. I was forced into it by regulations and a SEVERE
lack of email response from the Beta pilots (Epsilon did no better, but CPT Royber returned
sooner!)

As your Wing Commander, I send out email from time to time that requires a response.
When I send ANY email that is addressed to YOU and not just the Wing I Mailing List, that
means I feel it is important that you read and understand and RESPOND to the said email.

Beta and Epsilon Squadrons failed in this, just last week. The ENTIRE Wing failed in this,
twice this month! (How you ask? I sent each and everyone of you the SBRB missions,
individually and only had two pilots comment to me about them.) Conversely I knew you had
received them, because they popped up in conversation on the mailing list.

So to this end I am sending THIS Wing I Weekly Report via individual email and I REQUIRE a
response from all assigned personnel. I will also open a new mailing list that is a Command and
Control Channel that will be for official use only. (I’ll put in a comp request, and if it’s
approved I’ll award a IS-BR for the creator of a name for this channel.)

COMPETITIONS
A. The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout! The competition will run for eight weeks. Elements
will include four custom TIE free missions, an XWA ladder and fiction and art categories. Also,
the winning squadron and wing in this event will be awarded the titles of COM's Own.
The first mission has been completed and our wing placed second. Not bat, but I’d like to see a
bit more particiaption. That includes you, Beta and Epsilon Squadrons!! I’ve mailed around the
second mission. LC Freelancer and CPT Vector have advanced to the second round of the XWA
ladder.

B. The Wing I vs Hope Wing comp has entered into testing and should be ready soon.

It’s not a mandatory meeting, but I might actually be able to show up now and then.

Reminder about mission skipping
You are not authorized to skip any mission. Bug or not. All missions of the Compendium have
been completed one day or another, you may have misunderstood the way to complete the
mission. Fatal bugs are very rare, and if it happens to be that, just wait for it to be corrected and
hold on your pilot file, do not submit it. DON'T SKIP ANY MISSION. The battle would be
anyway removed later from your profile. Just a waste of time for everyone.
