WC's Rant!:
As usual, on cheating! Please, DON'T do this! Whatever the short term benefits may be as regards high scores, etc, if you cheat you WILL get caught, and you WILL pay the penalties for doing it. The penalties are high, and include being busted all the way back down to SL, loss of position, all medals accrued, loss of FCHG rank and scores, and being unable to earn FCHG points in the future. It's not fun, people, please DON'T DO IT. If you can't complete a battle for a competition then fly it with Invul and unlimited ammo on, DON'T CHEAT.

Wing Missions / IWATS / Medals for the fortnight:
The Wing flew a whopping 297 missions this fortnight! Let's pick this up a bit if we can, see if we can't get past that 1,000 mission mark this month!

The Wing took and passed 1 IWATS courses this fortnight!

BGCOM Appointed
Welcome and congratulations to VA Krax Tarnisar, the new BGCOM

Wing Commander Leave:
I'm going to be on leave from tomorrow afternoon until Thursday evening for a work-related training course in London. As this is a short leave, I don't think I should need to appoint an interim WC whilst I'm away. Commanders should send their pilot files to CoFo whilst I'm away, and squadrons whose Commanders are on leave please send your files to your A-CMDRs, cc your CMDR and make sure you also send the file to CoFo. I think this should just be Typhoon affected by this. :) I will be back on Thursday evening.

Competitions
Currently running:
CSL 2: Involving Inferno, Tempest, and Tornado - cheer 'em on!
XWA Allstars: Fly Free-XWA 61 before Sunday next week for the chance to win an IS-SW, an IS-BW, a kiss from the Wing Commander AND a chance to get into the XWA Allstars squad. Only four entries so far, so chances of winning are "high". :P
TopGun: Cheeeeeeeeeesy title, but the goal of this one is to fly as many missions by the end of the month as possible. Highest number of missions flown wins, and in the event of a tie, whoever flew the most without invulnerable and unlimited ammo will get the win. The winner will get an IS-SW, a nice activity reward at the end of the month, AND a bottle of Chal-pagne. Runners up will receive an IS-BW, a nice activity reward, and a consolation kiss from the Wing Commander. :P If you want all those fabbo prizes, it's time to bust out those joysticks and get your arses in your TIEs!

Morale Office Type Thing Coming Soon
Despite wrangles with the FMC at the moment (jeez, you'd think they'd WANT back in the BGs), the Challenge Morale Office will be starting up shortly, either under their aegis or without it. This move towards having the FMC back in the BattleGroups was approved by VA Drake and RA Corran Force, and so far as I can see at the moment all that's happening is that the FMC is dragging their heels on it. :P

The successful Challenge Recruitment Programme is still running, under the auspices of our very own Wing Commander, and ably aided and abetted by recruitment officers ship-wide. Current officers are:
