Wing News

-I'm glad to start this report off by saying that MAJ Algaron has decided to stay as Kappa's CMDR and lead them into glory once again. Fall starts up soon and maybe our priorities will change a bit. Summer is a bit long and it usually means low activity. Hopefully good things are yet to come =)
-Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout. Just a few more days left until the end of SBRB. I'm getting plenty of submissions for SBRB Mission 2 and a few graphics. There's still plenty of time to fly, do fiction, and graphics. You have until the end of this month to turn what you can in.
-"Idea of Death" competition against our neighbor, Wing III has started and already it's in full swing. Currently, we are involved in the messageboard run on fiction and the graphics. The run on fiction will last until September 15th (the end of the competition) and the graphics begins now until September 8th.
Participation in either one is highly encouraged. This competition is working on points based on participation.
Graphics:
1. Anything connected with the theme of the competition - banners, symbols, war scenes.. anything (and the phoenix image)
2. It lasts from the 25th of August till the 8ht of September
3. Scoring: best entry: 20 points, 2nd: 15, 3rd: 10, 4th: 5, below: 2 points for participation.
4. Medals: IS-SR for best entries in both Wings, IS-BR for runner ups (2 IS-SR, 2 IS-BR total)
Run On:
1. Scoring: 2 points for each submission.
2. Posts must be at least 20 lines long
3. Character sharing is not allowed
4. The beginning post will be submitted by both Wing Commanders
5. The best post of all except the beginning one will be chosen by VA Proton
6. It will be held on the SSSD Sovereign's Message Board
7. It lasts from the first to the last day of the competition
8. Medals: IS-SR for the winner and IS-BR for runner up (1 IS-SR, 1 IS-BR total)
So far I've recieved one graphic submission. As for the messageboard run on, Wing III has more posts than we do.
The flying part for TIE and XWA (single player mission) will commence September 9th (after the graphics is due)
