WING COMMANDER'S OWN
This is a new month, and overall, I had to hem and hah about who to chose for WC's Own for the month of August (to be laureled in September). And I finally decided it would be given to the squadron that has had the GREATEST overall participation in the SBRB to date. Therefore without any further ado, I give you:

IMPORTANT!

Last week, I sent the Wing I Weekly Report via individual email and informed you all that I REQUIRED a response from all assigned personnel. The response was less than exhilirating:
I have therefore compiled a list of those personnel that are to be summarily executed for not complying with my orders. You all know who you are.

On a lighter note, I will soon be opening a new mailing list that is a Command and Control Channel that will be for official use only. (I'll put in a comp request, and if it's approved I'll award a IS-BR for the creator of a name for this channel.)

COMPETITIONS
A. The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout! The competition will run for eight weeks. Elements will include four custom TIE free missions, an XWA ladder and fiction and art categories. Also, the winning squadron and wing in this event will be awarded the titles of COM's Own.
The second mission has been completed and we await results. I've mailed around the third mission, which is due Sept 15th.

The final XWA ladder matches have been completed, and we have our first
official medal winners in the Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout:

LC Freelancer - Iron Star-Gold Wings
CPT Vector - Iron Star-Silver Wings
LC Jon Doyle - Iron Star-Bronze Wings

Round-robin results: Freelancer (2-0) defeated Jon (0-2) 26-20 and
Vector (1-1) 16-14. Vector defeated Jon 21-15; thus, the order of medal
awards. Total kills in the round robin: Freelancer 42 and Vector and
Jon with 35 each.

Congratulations to these skilled TIE Bomber pilots!

B. The Wing I vs Hope Wing comp has entered into testing and should be ready soon.

C. I am tweaking the details of a massive Wing I inter-squadron competition, which will pit you all against each other, on all three Flight Platforms AND include an EASY fiction comp for those that can't fly. Stay tuned for further details. For those with nothing to do, you can help your squadron come up with a list of 5 battles or missions for each game platform that are rated at least a 3.

1. WEEKLY TIDBITS
Due to the fallout of a Santa the Hutt email thread circulating amongst the wing officers, and some unfortunate mentions of Wing I being "depantsed, defrocked, and deflowered", we have been confined to our section of the ship except for combat patrols.
Now you see the wisdom of my assigning you all top 12 hour on/off flight rotations. (Is it really our fault if you land at another landing bay, when you're so horn....er I mean tired?)

New Multiplayer Competitions

I have subscribed the Emperor's Hammer to a Multiplayer Event called [XvT] TIE Advanced Abomination. For more information go to the Battlestats Site of the Comp and to the Combat Operations Office Calendar.
Also after SHW Kantor's suggestion I have added the [JK] Week of War XXXIII and the [JK2] Week of War V to the Combat Calendar. The Emperor's Hammer (EH) and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood (DJB) are subscribed. After finishing the Week of War's all EH Matches will be processed by me and sent to the SHW for awarding the Cluster of Fire's.
All the Scores will be processed within 3 days after their respective Competitions ended.
