Report XII
Greetings everyone, and welcome to a brand new Wing X report.
NEWS
I have to start with my personal news :) I had my exam on Thursday and passed it, therefore, I finished my job training. I start to study next month and get money for it from the Company I work for, so YEAH me and all in all a lot of good reasons to get drunk :)
Unfortunatly did this all take some time of preperations, at work and also at home, therefore was I on a semi-leave and put the MSE stuff aside, until yesterday.
Fortunatly are nearly all regulary MSE medals awarded, a couple of things are still pending for approval, so be a bit patient :)
Details on the medals are in the medal section.
And now to the real news :)
The Challenge got it’s site up and running :)
You can find the new Chal site at: www.isdchallenge.net
Seph was so kind to offer subdomains that can be hosted over the isdchallenge.net account.
So if you have a nice little site for your Squadron, for your Flight, or for the Wing, contact Seph :)
The webdesign for the site was done by GN Drake, I must say that it is an awesome work.
Next thing, you all heared about the accident of a former X’er, Jacob von Novak. I wish him a fast recovery and a soon return to active duty.
On some TC wide news,
The COMM is hosting a new Competition, a Quote of the Week one. If you see anything that would fit that requirement, mail the COMM at io@absolutek.ca
And if you haven`t already noticed, your History Record shows now the time that you have served in a specific position, so YAY to our XO :)
That’s it with the news, I don`tthink that anyone cares that Locke has started to pin his medals on to his fighter after his shielding deviece failed the second time now :)
COMPETITIONS
“Who is the true X” Competition
The Comp is divided into 4 parts.
PART I
SP Flying
Platforms used: TIE,XvT, XWA
Missions used: TIE FREE #219 XvT FREE #97 XWA FREE #102
The submissions goes to BOTH WC’s and as usual to your CMDR’s.
Medals: 1st place in each Wing: IS-SW
2nd place in each Wing: IS-BW
PART II
MP Flying
Platforms used: XvT and XWA
Flying: 1vs1 (ONLY)
The MP flying will be hosted in the channels #ATF and #Wing_X
When you fly someone in #ATF, make sure that he is from Wing XX and not a freak from the Avenger :)
PART III
Writing Competition
The fiction deals with a night of drunken misbehaviour on a shore leave when the Wing X and Wing XX pilots just happen to bump into each other.
The submissions goes to the BG COM’s of BOTH BG’s. Means, they go to:

PART IV
Graphic Competition
The graphics prompt follows on logically from this, being a banner for the wing cantinas.

The Competition starts on the 1st July and ends on the 30th. That should be enough time for EVERYONE to participate in it.

WING X - MORALE BOOSTING COMP
Basically what you have to do is, i want you to "plug" a fellow member of the Challenge. So in other words, write out some sort of rant about how good someone on the ship is and send it to me, Make it as funny as possible and a good read.

Wing Commanders Corner
Alright,
I say it clearly again, do not use the egroups or the Message Boards for your personal ranting about others decisions. If you have a problem with such decisions, mail the person directly or come to me and Seph. The next one that abuses the egroups this way will be set to NO MAIL.
Next thing is the Wing X vs Wing XX Competition. It is halftime, and the number of submissions that I have so far is a bit scary.
I encourage you ALL to take the few minuites to participate in it, it is for the Wing and for the Ship.
