Thunder Run-on Completion Comp
I'm still waiting for authorisation on this from Mr TO, but in the meantime, y'all might as well get started. The competition is to write a concluding post for the Thunder run-on which you can find on their message board at http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/view.asp?b=68&v=1&s=0 Entries should be in .doc or .txt format ONLY and should be sent to myself (somnia_vacua@yahoo.com) and CMDR/LC Beef (beefment@aol.com) for judging. I believe the winning post will be added to the Thunder message board for everyone's reading pleasure! You can earn an IS-SR for first place, an IS-BR for second place; entries due in by 31st January.

Challenge News Network: Newsletter Layout Design Competition
We're starting a newsletter - yippee! But to start a newsletter, we need a cool funkomatic design to publish it in. Are you good at graphics, html, web design in general? Then this competition is for you! Details are available below or at: http://www.imperialacademy.org/compdetails.asp?ID=1217
"The competition is to completely design a format for the forthcoming Challenge Newsletter. Candidates may work in groups or as individuals to produce the layout, including graphics, html, etc.

I would expect the following categories to be included in any layout:

Submissions should be posted on a web-host, and the URL emailed to COL Mairin Astoris and RA Darklord, or else all necessary files should be zipped and emailed (if no hosting is available to the entrants). A URL would be much preferred. :P Entries are due in by 28th February (which gives you loads of time to get this going!)"

Bugs in custom battles

Make sure you are flying the up-to-date version of a battle if you seem to encounter a bug. Bug correction is the current top priority of the Tactical Office, and updated versions are released every day or so. As it takes as much time to correct a bug as to check a mission for which an already corrected bug has been reported, you will save us some time and allow us to even correct other bugs much faster. Thank you for your cooperation
