1) Most importantly is our comp with Wing V, they've been shooting there mouths of over who is the best squadron. The mission is TC-TIE 174 (attached) and is due by the 30th July. Lets just say they were beaten by Wing I and we beat those guys 2 in a row. Lets kick there ass bigtime :)
2) The Wing IV Squadron League latest results were announced, and I have to say I am a little dissappointed with the participation here ppl. Congrats to Yod for re-taking the lead. The latest results are below

4) As you will have noticed by now, CM Mantis has had to step down as Lamed CMDR. For the moment I have placed COL Ricardo as A-CMDR of Lamed, and I am currently accepting applications for the position.
5) Round 2 of the PSI Invitational has been announced. Yod had a very good turn out for this and are currently placed 2nd overall. The standings are below.

Ship/Fleet News
1) Imp Storm II Update, see below for the details
Although a little late in being announced, the full results from Tuesday night's Battle for Valkier can be found by clicking here. In summary, ships from TF Flaming Arrow completely crushed the opposing Silver Saber forces, for whom the most notable loss was the Regulator, an ImpStar Deuce. TF Flaming Arrow will take control of Valkier at the end of Turn IV.
In other ImpStorm news, TF Doom has captured two more planets: Strall and Golst. Including Firixon, this brings their total up to 3 held worlds.
The battle was a success, with a great turnout (the highest number of people was about 57). Many thanks to all those who attended, and helped. My apologies to those of you who didn't get the opportunity to fly, but there will be more chances in the very near future :)

4) The Communications Office is pleased to announce the launch of our new Office website, located at http://comm.ehnet.org/. The new office contains a vast amount of reference material regarding communication in the EH. This material includes IRC How-to's, EH Meeting logs, a listing of EH IRC channels, and more!
5) The dreaded Sector Rangers, the scourge of IRC :P, are being disbanded and being replaced with the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) see the announcement from SO/AD Slade
As Security Officer I'd like to announce the disbanding of the Sector Rangers, and like the phoenix, rising from the ashes of the Sector Rangers comes the Imperial Security Bureau, a badly needed beginning to a well-deserved end.
From veritable rubble and disorganization into an epitome of uniform and order, the ISB is here to serve you and the entire Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet, as an effective investigative/reporting agency. I'm sure many of you worry that the ISB is the same thing that the Sector Rangers were, but I assure you this is not true. Unlike the Sector Rangers, the ISB's goal is to report, not to act upon violations of the AoWs and CoCs.
We aren't the police, and wont try to pretend to be. Merely, if we see a violation of Imperial law, it is reported and documented and sent to the Security Office. I sincerely hope you don't automatically look down on the ISB as the bastard son of the SRs, because I would like to put everything the SRs were or stood for behind us. The ISB is just a way to help keep the trouble makers out of the fleet, discourage ill behavior and create a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Membership in the ISB will be very selective, due to the requirement that the organization must remain small in numbers at this present time; so we are seeking only the best and brightest.
