WING I NEWS:
1. Wing I is engaged in a competition with Wing V. Closing date for submissions is 30th June, but I want your reports on my desk by 29th June to compile the final wing report in time. Guys and girls, I'm counting on you...

2. Wing V again: The CMDRs of Wings I and V facing each other July 1-21 in the inaugural CMDRs' Cup Challenge! We're flying a TIE battle for interwing command bragging rights! Top scorer in each command group will receive the Iron Star-Bronze Wings.

3. Delta Squadron is invited to participate in the Psi Squadron Invitational Tournament!

4. Delta Squadron is *still* looking for a new webpage and a new banner. The pilot(s) with best creation(s) will be awarded with the Imperial Security Medal.

5. Wing I Run-On 2001:

11. I've joined the Emperor's Hammer at June 27th, 1997 as a Flight Member in Mem Squadron, Wing V. That means I'm celebrating my 4th anniversary during these days. Being Wing Commander/General since... errr... more than... anyhow, I'm still not tired!

SSSD SOVEREIGN/FLEET NEWS:
1. Sovereign-wide Top Gun competition:
The final round of the Sovereign Top Gun Contest is running. The current missions are TIE Battle #96 for COL Callista (Gamma) and XWA Battle #3 for LC Mobiles (Delta, and the best pilot aboard the Sovereign in round 3). All submissions must be sent directly to GN Devin (CC:ed to me) no later than June 30th. Best wishes to our two finalists!

2. The SovMan competition:
COL Sasquatch got first place with a great looking submission and MAJ
Michael Emrys got second place. Not to forget COL Gallow's beautiful banner... :)

4. Imperial Storm II - End of Turn I events:
In the early morning hours, local time, satellites in high orbit around the industrial world of Firaxon detected a sizable fleet from Task Force Doom dropping out of hyperspace and taking up orbital positions around the planet. Groundside observers identified the following ships present:

5. FCHG Battle Creation Competition:
The Tactical Office has announced the start of a Fleet Wide FCHG Battle Creation Competition! Any EH member may participate and may create up to 4 battles (one per platform). Members are welcome to team up and create battles as a group. All battles must be 4-8 missions in length. That is pretty much the only requirement for the battles, though those battles which follow the guidelines in the TAC manual will be favored, of course.

NOTE: FCHG Battles' plots should be (if possible) centered on the FC (More so than just "the FC wants to take over this system, etc), however, a plot of this type is NOT NECESSARY.

Judging will be done by officers selected by the TAC office. Originality, playability, technical merit, and plotline all will contribute equally to the overall score.

Awards:
3rd place per platform: IS-BR
2nd place per platform: IS-SR
1st place per platform: IS-PR AND the addition to the mission compendium as a FCHG battle.
(If More than 1 author is given for a battle, then all will receive ribbons, within reason. The entirity of a squad (7-12 members) will not receive ribbons. If more than 6 persons are used to author a battle, only the CREATORS of the battle (People who MADE the missions) will be given awards.) The competition will run until July 29. All submissions should be sent to FA Starlion (tac@emperorshammer.org) and CC:ed to VA Arso Slyth (Arsolimese@aol.com), VA Troutrooper (troutrooper@yahoo.com) and GN Wolly (me... :P) with the subject "TAC FCHG Comp".
